Rob and another author at the Strathmore. Cr: Jeffrey Johnson |
Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of being invited with five other local authors to meet the attendees of the
"Afternoon Tea" at the Strathmore Mansion in Bethesda,Maryland. I met interesting authors of fascinating books that covered fiction, historic fiction, poetry, recipes and treatment for Autism and ADHD.
We each had 10 minutes to talk about ourselves and our books. Some did readings from their books and it was obvious there was a lot of talent in the room. I introduced myself as something completely different, since I'm a medium/paranormal investigator and scientist. I gave a quick overview of the science of energy and it's direct relevance to the afterlife, and mentioned ghosts, spirits, people and pets.
I met many people who have also had experiences of their own, too. Some had experiences with human ghosts, others with spirits and some with those of pets.

COMING BACK IN OCTOBER! The Strathmore has a couple of ghosts that I sensed when I was there... so I'll be meeting them again in October 2016 as I've been asked to come back and talk about how ghosts and spirits communicate! It will be a return appearance at an afternoon tea. Date to be announced, but it's definitely in October.
AN AUTHOR TO CHECK OUT - One of the authors that I had the good fortune to sit next to was
Jeffrey Johnson of Virginia. He wrote a novel called "The Hunger Artist" that was a People's Choice Award Finalist. He was awarded the Andrew Lytle Fiction Prize by The Sewanee Review. He read a couple of pages from the beginning of the novel about two of the main characters and it was captivating.
