A Dad's Message
Whenever I go to give lectures, I usually carry something with me to give away, whenever spirit moves me. One of the things I've been carrying with me is a comic book from the DC Comics series "Ghosts," issue #91 from the 1980s.
I was waiting for someone to tell me whom to give it to. That night, Troy's father's spirit told me to give it to Troy. I found out why later.
Troy said, "When I was in 4,5,and 6th grade, I would order Scholastic books on ghost stories and haunted places and dog posters. I grew up with a major fascination toward the paranormal." I never knew that about Troy, and I've known him for over 15 years.
He turned the comic book around and noticed the back of the book was an advertisement for "Daisy air rifles for kids." Troy was so excited to see that ad page because when he was a kid, his dad had bought him one. He said "I grew up in West Virginia, and it was the thing to have." Troy also said his dad grew up as a sportsman, so it was natural." These reminded him of his dad.
SO WHAT HAPPENED HERE? It was obvious to me that Troy's dad influenced me to give Troy the "Ghosts" comic book for those two reasons I cited above, because it reminded Troy of his childhood. It's amazing that after bringing that comic with me for over 1 1/2 years that a spirit finally made me give it to the right person who would have a personal connection with it!
