I personally know Rob and he's helped me deal with the passing of family members as well as pets. This book was very eye opening to the signs that are all around us. I really enjoyed learning about Ed and Rob's friendship. Rob has a way of drawing you in and while reading this I felt like my sister, who has passed, was reading along with me. I could hear her laughing and saying see it is me doing strange things so you know I'm with you. Thank you, Rob for another amazing read!

Ten Most Bizarre Cemeteries: #2 - Sedlec Ossuary, Czech Republic

Sedlec Ossuary, Czech Republic

The Czech Republic's Sedlec Ossuary has a history as bizarre as the church itself. Appropriately nicknamed "Bone Church," the 40,000-plus human skeletons that came to decorate the interior of the church were originally buried in the church's cemetery. When overcrowding became an issue in the 1870s, church officials employed František Rint to move the bones inside the church.

As unsettling as the decor is, the church boasts a spectacular chandelier made entirely out of bones, among dozens of other impressive features. You just can't hire interior designers like that anymore.

Encounters from Last Night's Ghost Tour of Belmont Manor, Maryland

Last night 4 members of the Inspired Ghost Tracking or IGT group of Maryland, myself included, gave a public tour of the ghosts who live in the Belmont Historic Mansion Manor. 25  people had signed up and showed up to meet the ghosts of this historic mansion.We split into three groups and Tom and I covered the 2nd floor and introduced folks to quite a few ghosts. In today's blog you'll learn about the message one of the visitors on the tour had for ME, from one of the ghosts, and you'll read about the grumpy ghost we all encountered. Read on!

IGT 'S FIRST INVESTIGATION  -  IGT conducted our first investigation of the Belmont in 2015 when it re-opened as an event facility. The property dates back to 1738, and the house had occupants who endured their own tragedies. In fact, some of them never left and remain as Earthbound ghosts. There are a couple of others who linger in the home that were not family members, however, and were just at one time, visitors.

A SENSITIVE VISITOR HAS A MESSAGE FOR ME! 
  There were a couple of people in the groups who were sensitive to ghosts and spirits. At the end of the night, one man told me that the little girl's ghost who lives there, likes it when I come to visit and wants me to play. She told the man that she also wants to play with the little African American girl ghost in the kitchen.  It's amazing how ghosts convey these messages!

THE GRUMPY GHOST - 
  The "General" as I call him, is a ghost who helped plan a war in 1991 there at the Belmont (yes, there was one was planned there and we'll tell you about it on the tour) and came back to haunt one room because he regrets the war (planned on bad intel as we all know now). He causes sensitive people in the groups to feel chest pressure or general (no pun intended) discomfort . Last night he showed his grumpy personality and gave me some uncomfortable chest pain.

Friday Night Ghost Frights: Are Shadow People Aliens?

My friend Mike Ricksecker addresses a theory about Shadow People encountered during paranormal investigations. I've always sensed that Shadow people are life forms from another solar system/universe. Questions about Signs from Spirit: Feathers, Butterflies, Coins

In several of my books I explain how spirits (of loved one who crossed over) and Earthbound ghosts can communicate and provide various signs to us. Spirits can manipulate or influence things in nature like birds, butterflies, flowers, etc. while ghosts cannot. ; Dan also found coins. I always tell people to check the year to learn the identity of the sender.
Recently I received an email from Dan, whose dog Romeo passed. Dan shared a couple of things that he thought were signs from Romeo, but he had questions about them, since they appeared to him in an abnormal way. Here's Dan's email and my response. ->>>>

THE EXPERIENCES: . .I have some questions to ask you about signs. Since Romeo passed away, I have found a single penny on 2 separate occasions and a nickle on another occasion. One penny had the same year that he passed on it, the others had random dates.
. As feathers go. I have come across feathers on 3 separate occasions. On 2 separate occasions, I came across an entire wing by itself with rest of the bird gone. Once in my girlfriends back yard where me and Romeo played and the other time was at work. The other time, I found 2 feathers at work.
Now as Butterflies are concerned. I have come across some big beautiful colorful Butterflies at work. Once as I was walking with my head down, I told Romeo how much I love him and miss him and as soon as I raised my head after I said those things there was a big colorful butterfly over my head. The other time, I was walking and in my path I came across a big colorful butterfly but it was laying on the ground and appearing that it was dying or dead.   

THE QUESTIONS AND MY ANSWERS: 
 1. In order for coins to be a sign, does the coin have to have a year on it that means something such as Birth date or date of death or the year that I got Romeo?
2.  Is it more of a significance by finding an entire wing(with the rest of the bird missing) than it is just finding one feather?

3. Is a dead butterfly or dying butterfly mean something, and is it a sign from Romeo just as the living butterfly was a sign?

ROB'S ANSWERS:
 It takes a lot of effort for a spirit to make sure they give you a sign.

 You know they are signs when you were thinking of the pet or  person and something comes your way, Just as the butterfly did. Romeo didn't mean to take the butterfly down but it was important you saw it at that time. 

  He did the same thing with the bird! He loved chasing birds and still does.  The bird wing being in the backyard of where Romeo used to go is also a sign. That's because he used to go there and was familiar with that yard. So he dragged the wing out for you to see it. He did the same at your workplace because he wants you to know that he can now follow you to work!

As for the coins, usually the date will indicate the spirit. However there are exceptions because it takes a lot of effort for a spirit to find the exact date so sometimes they take the coin that is closest to you. They do that especially when you are thinking of them.

  He certainly has been quite active! He wants to assure you that he is able to follow you wherever go! He has thoroughly convinced me!

Part 2 Q&A: Ashes in a Civil War Battlefield - Sign from a Blue Jay

In Sunday's blog, I answered a question from a man who was interested in having his ashes scattered http://ghostsandspiritsinsights.blogspot.com/2019/11/q-would-spreading-my-ashes-in-civil-war.html .
on a Civil War battlefield, and whether that would offer comfort to the ghosts of the lingering soldiers. You can find that story here:
Today's blog is the follow up email he sent me after he visited the battlefield to find the right "spot" for his ashes. A spirit motivated a Blue Jay to tell him exactly where that would be.  Here's his story:
Hi Rob-  I thought I could be "closer"[to the battlefield], but I was just too overwhelmed with the visions  and my emotions of the closeness of the actual brutality of war. The vivid descriptions of each location the Park Ranger narrated to me, which I asked him to do, just plain and simple did not want me to be there.....then or forever !
   So I asked him to show me a place more peaceful or even a scenic area if possible.

We went to a battle scene that was the last battle, the one that ended the

Stones River Conflict. 58 Union Cannons spread 7 football fields apart literally took the forest down along with 1,800 Confederate soldiers in a  matter of minutes before they could cross Stones River.

The place I chose was where the cannon balls would have been fired over my location. No one died here, only beyond the cannon fire. I felt more at peace being " between " our conflict than in the middle of it. The place is McFadden's Farm.


As I walked this large rocky scenic area looking for my final resting place, I kept hoping for a sign, a voice, a feeling, something to make me stop and say, here, this is the place. It was a sunny crisp cold fall day, very quiet. Everyone stopped talking, the wind seemed to stop as I walked ahead among the rocky terrain. It became eerie quiet.

Then from above, high in the tall spruce trees a Blue Jay let out what sounded to me urgent calls. I stopped, looked above but couldn't see the Jay, but knew instantly this was the place. The Jay, or someone as a Jay chose my final resting place. That was my Spirit Jay, no doubt.

 MY RESPONSE:  That was quite an experience on the battlefield. I agree that the energy there is disturbing in areas where active battle occurred. I am glad to hear you found the peaceful spot near McFadden's Farm and that you were paying attention when spirit inspired the Blue Jay to tell you where to go.  That's an amazing story. Neptune Memorial Reef, Florida 

The Neptune Memorial Reef is located about three miles off the coast of Key Biscayne, Florida, and is both an Atlantis for the dead and a man-made reef. Opened in 2007, it was originally supposed to be an artificial reef for the underwater ecosystem, but is now a unique burial spot.

Those interred in the Neptune Memorial Reef are cremated and the ashes placed in concrete, then sent down to the bottom of the ocean. The site is popular among Miami divers, and you can access it yourself or via local boat and diving companies.
