A Special Grandma Sends a Musical Message of Love
Here's an incredible story of how a woman's grandmother influenced a young tattoo artist to play her favorite song at the exact time her granddaughter, Brenda was at the shop. As I've written in my books: Ghosts and Spirits, and Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead, spirits will use music to let us know they are around us. Usually, we'll hear their favorite song whenever we're thinking of them. they ensure that we will be at that very place at that very time to hear their musical message. That takes a lot of coordinating from the other side!
There are truly no such things as coincidences when it comes to spirit! My thanks to Brenda for allowing me to share this story. Here's Brenda's story:
I am a strong believer in life after death in us humans and our pets and I can never get enough listening to all the touching stories I hear you talk about regarding your beloved dogs who have crossed and your experiences with them after the have gone to the other side. I also have dogs, cats and pet rats and the closest I've ever gotten to my animals is with my pet rats. I have had well over 100 pet rats that have crossed and some that I've been closer with then others.
I would love to share with you a story about why I am such a believer in life after death. My beautiful Grandmother who preferred us to call her by Nann passed away July, 2009. My Nann's name is Grace LeBlanc. Her passing was extremely difficult as I expected it would be, because of the love we had all my life.
I decided to have her signature "Nann" tattooed on me. On the way there [to the tattoo parlor] while driving in the car, I told her I would love for her to be there when I get the tattoo.
I arrived and the young man who was to do the tattoo was running late. When he arrived he came in with a big stack of at least 15 music CD's. He apologized for running late and began explaining to me that one of his co-workers asked him to stop and grab all the CD's he had in his hands. He walked over and put one of those CDs in and began getting things prepared to give me my Nann's signature tattoo.
Suddenly, the song "Sweet Caroline" from Neil Diamond came on. At first I was wondering why on earth he put that song on. I wondered this because this kind of music was nothing I've ever heard them play there in all the other times I've gotten tattoos there.
Then, suddenly I realized that the song he had chosen to put on while getting ready to do my Grandmother's Nann tattoo was in fact my Nann's favorite song!
I was stunned and was unable to speak for the entire song.
It was afterward, that I informed the young tattoo artist that out of all those stack of CD's he brought in for his co-worker, he, in fact, chose my grandmother's favorite song! I told him she passed and this is her signature I'm getting tattooed on me...which he had absolutely no idea was in fact her favorite song or that she was passed because he hardly knew me. He looked surprised and said "well she's letting you know she's here."
I was sitting there and my chest felt warm and felt full of the feelings of love I felt when she was alive and right beside me times 1,000.
So this is where my interest in life after death took off and I haven't looked back now 10 years later.

ARLNH Dog Hoping for Adoption: Tim with a Special Heart
Tim is seeking a forever home |
MEET TIM - Tim, here. How are ya?! I have come to New Hampshire all the way from South Carolina in search of a home of my own! I was found in rough shape, but luckily for me, I found kind humans who took care of me!
My human friends have learned a lot about me, like how sweet and gentle I am. And how I love to play with other dogs! I think I would be a great companion dog, and I would be open to living with kids, although really little kids might be a little scary for me.
Unfortunately, I do have a heart condition that you should know about. My heart is not in great shape, and it will need to be managed for as long as I'm around. We are not sure if my heart will effect my lifespan, but I promise I will repay anyone who adopts me with a lifetime of whole-hearted love.

Bristol England Hauntings #6: Buried Alive at Arnos Vale Cemetery
One of my books is called "Ghosts of England on a Medium's Vacation" and is all about the various ghosts I met when I took 2 vacations in England. Recently, Bristol Live in the UK ran a series about haunted places in Bristol, so on this blog, you'll read about 1 each week for the next several weeks! Meanwhile if you want to read about the ghosts I met (Queens, shop owners, members of the royal court, Tavern workers, Shakespeare's sister, and even a dog, check out my book on Amazon.com. Now, onto the hauntings in Bristol, England:
Buried alive at Arnos Vale Cemetery
Two female figures supposedly haunt the cemetery, and many people who visit have reported feeling an overwhelming sense of sadness.
A black female figure is said to have been spotted crying over the death of her husband who was killed in World War 1.
Another female figure has been reported at the cemetery, crying and panicked after supposedly being buried alive there.

ATTN: Animal Rescues; I will Give a FREE Lecture for you as a Fundraiser!
If you or anyone you know is connected to an animal rescue or shelter and would like me to give a free lecture on how pets communicate from the afterlife, based on my 2 books "Pets and the Afterlife 1 and 2," contact me at Rgutro@gmail.com.
NOTE: Pets and the Afterlife 3: Spirit Dogs, and Coping with Grief is coming in January 2021
HOW IT WORKS
In short, I'm a meteorologist, but since I was a child I've had a gift to be able to communicate with those who passed. In 2005, when my puppy Buzz passed I've been able to communicate with all domesticated pets who have passed. So, I've written 2 books to teach others how to recognize the signs from their own pets.
ABOUT THE EVENT
My lectures are about 45 minutes and are interactive with audience participation, because you'd be surprised how many people have their own experiences. As a scientist in my day job, my books are based on energy. If people have religious beliefs or no beliefs, they can apply them to the concepts. There's usually a lot of healing and understanding that happens!
RAISED UP TO $1,800 IN ONE DAY!
You may want to speak with Megan Williams at Lakes Region Humane Society (LRHS) in Ossippee or Charlotte Williams at Animal Rescue League of NH (ARLNH) in Bedford to get their reaction on these lectures that I have done in BOTH rescues in 2018, 2019 and on-line in 2020. In 2018, ARLNH wound up having me do 3 lectures and raised about $1800 for them in one afternoon!
NO COST TO SHELTERS
There is NO charge to rescues and shelters. They just organize the event, provide a space (OR we can do it On-line as a "Live" event), collect the registration fees and host the event. So rescues advertise and charge for it (ARLNH and LRHS charged $20 per person, but you can charge what you feel is affordable),
WHY I DO IT ON MY WEEKENDS
I do this to help people heal from their grief and to help animal rescues raise money. Fortunately, I have a good daytime job that enables me to pay for transportation to rescues on some weekends to do this.
I JUST ASK TO SELL MY BOOKS
I ask for nothing other than to sell my books at the event for $10 each (to help pay for my travel) or ask that the rescue tells attendees about them and where to find them on Amazon.com. I hope to visit in person or on-line and help raise funds for your rescue next year! Sincerely,
Rob Gutro

Great NH Rescue Events - and a Message from Missy the Dog
Rob ready for the lecture! |
This past weekend I visited 2 Animal rescues in New Hampshire and lectured on how pets communicate from the afterlife. I do these talks as fundraisers for
the rescue (the rescue charges and admission, and it all goes to
support the rescue). It was a return engagement for me at both the Lakes
Region Humane Society in Ossippee, NH, (https://lrhs.net) and the Animal Rescue League of NH (https://www.rescueleague.org/) in Bedford, NH (near Manchester, NH.
I was so pleased to see
so many people had signed up for both events, and they were both
amazing groups. The best part of these lectures is when people in the
audience understand the signs I speak about, and then share their own
stories. (Please tell other rescues I will help them, too. See below).
KNOW ANY RESCUES NEEDING FUNDRAISERS? - If you know of a rescue that
would like to have me speak as a fundraiser, tell them about me, and
have them contact me at Rgutro@gmail.com. I schedule talks on the
weekends (because I'm a meteorologist full time).
MY BOOKS - Check out my books "Pets and the Afterlife" and "Pets and the Afterlife 2" available on Amazon.com -under $10 in paperback and Under $3 in Kindle!
Megan does introductions at the Lakes Region Humane Society |
LHRS room is filling up |
Usually whenever I give these talks I can sense some pets, and although
I did, there was one dog in particular who was adamant I tell her mom
that she's still around her mom in spirit. Here's the story>
ARNH sweet dog! |
MISSY THE DOG MESSAGES ME
Animal Rescue of NH lecture |
At my appearance at the Animal Rescue of New Hampshire in Bedford, NH,
before I started my lecture I asked a woman sitting down if she had a dog named
Missy.
Turns out, Missy was the name of her dog that passed a couple of weeks ago.
A Dog needing a home at ARNH |
A vocal little guy at ARNH needing a home |
I told her that Missy came to me from the moment my plane landed,
knowing where I would be (in the same room with her mom later on). Missy
also came through as I was walking into the rescue that afternoon and
told me she has clarity of thought (which wound up making sense as her
mom later informed me Missy had dementia).
Missy also told
me that she was always with another dog with whitish colored tight
curly fur. Missy's mom showed me a photo of her other dog that had that
exact appearance.
In short, Missy's mom (I think her
name was Debra) was astounded and comforted to get the message Missy is
still very much around.
A cute little one at ARNH needing a home! |

Book Review: Anatomy of a Ghost
I enjoy reading all kinds of paranormal books to get another paranormal investigator or medium's sense of the paranormal. The latest one I read is called "Anatomy of a Ghost" by Robin M. Strom-Mackey.
The book is a comprehensive "Guide to Analyzing the Dead." In the book, Robin outlines all kids of paranormal entities that have been talked about in the paranormal world. She explains poltergeists really well (They are manifestations of mental and emotional energy that simulate ghostly activity).
She talks about haunted houses and gives a nice overview of the spirtuality movement in history. As a meteorologist, I also appreciated the chapter on physics and quantum physics. She also covers creatures from other cultures.
I found it interesting and well-researched! Well worth a paranormal read! - Rob
ABOUT THE BOOK: Anatomy of a Ghost is a careful dissection of many subjects on the paranormal. Find out what experts in the field really believe about ghosts and haunted locations. Beyond just spirits and ghostly phenomena, the book also covers man-made paranormal entities, the unexplained shadow people and the lore surrounding angels and demons. Looking for evidence that the soul survives bodily death? The chapter on After Death Communications and Near Death Experiences suggests that such experiences are universal and, in the case of After Death Communications, occur quite frequently. Included in the book are many of the first-hand experiences by the author and her colleagues. From the child ghost in Pennsylvania, to the demon in Dover. The book is laced with stories from people who have actually experienced the paranormal in their own lives.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Robin Strom-Mackey has been researching and investigating the paranormal for the better part of a decade. During that time, she has written extensively about ghosts for her blog "The Shore" at delawareparanormal.blogspot.com. She is the founder and director of Delaware Paranormal Research Group as well as being a medical professional, mother and wife.
Formerly she was a teacher of English, Communications and broadcasting, and a television journalist for the U.S. Navy. Aside from video she is also an enthusiastic amateur photographer.
She loves anything to do with the water, jogging, hiking, biking, drinking Bloody Mary's (Pina coladas being far too sweet) and getting caught in the rain. She lives in Delaware with husband, son, Uther the dog, Miss Scarlet the cat and a sugar glider named Hiccup.

Ed's Spirit Appears as Superman at a Comic-Con!
The Superman who stopped me in my tracks- Ed's Doppelganger |
Well, Ed likes to remind me that he's still very much around and he did so again during this trip.
Because I had a couple of hours to use before I went to the rescue, and I learned there was a comic-con in the same city of Manchester, New Hampshire, I decided to go there and enjoy it.
Ed before he passed in 1996 |
I don't know who the man is, but the resemblance is uncanny. I've posted a photo of Ed here, too, so you can compare for yourself.
I knew it was a sign from Ed telling me he's with me, and he was proud of me talking about his spirit-life story in the new book!
Spirits will often lead you to someone who looks like them to convey the message that they are very much around you. To learn more about ways spirits give us signs, or to read the amazing story of how I befriended Ed's spirit, check out "Kindred Spirits: How a Medium Befriended a Spirit" on Amazon.

Weeping nun at Arnos Manor Hotel
Arnos Manor Hotel was originally a large private home, complete with its own chapel run by nuns from a local school.Legend has it that one of the nuns fell pregnant and took her own life, and the other nuns bricked her up in a wall to try to keep the scandal under wraps.
The hotel was damaged by a bomb during the Second World War, and when repair works got underway the nun's skeleton was reportedly discovered and moved by workmen.
There have multiple reports of a figure in brown at the hotel, and some people are said to have heard a soft female voice weeping and calling them by name. Most of the activity has been reported in room 160.
