Tarot Tuesday: with Joy Andreasen: the Judgement Card

Joy Says: Spirit says today is a new day. The person who you used to be is awakening into a new version of your amazing self! It may almost feel as if you are awakened from the dead! Surrender to the process. Let go of what you used to think was the best version of yourself and rise up to the next expression of your soul. It may not look anything like what you expected. It's okay. The Angels are close around to assist you in this transition.

 

Judgement (XX), or in some decks spelled Judgment, is a Tarot card, part of the Major Arcana suit usually comprising 22 cards.

  

Depiction: An angel, possibly Gabriel, is depicted blowing a great trumpet, from which hangs a white flag bearing a red cross. A group of humans of grayish complexion stand, arms spread, are apparently emerging from graves.

 

Meaning: This card is referred to as a time of resurrection and awakening, a time when a period of our life comes to an absolute end making way for dynamic new beginnings.

 

Upright card (keywords): Decision making, Transition, Renewal, Redemption, Awakening, Reincarnation

Paranormal Q&A: Can Mediums Connect Far Back to an Ancient Ancestor?

As a medium, I love questions about the afterlife, and try to share the knowledge of what I have learned. This week's Q&A is about whether mediums can contact ancient ancestors. 

Question #1:   Are there legitimate mediums who CAN connect with people or spirits who go that far back into a person's history?  

Answer:  Mediums can only go back a generation or two. Why? Because once everyone has passed that someone knows in the physical world, then they reincarnate!  So, they're living a new life and their previous life has been suppressed. Because their soul becomes that of another living person, there's no way for a medium to reach them. 

Question #2  What about connecting to  family that would love you if you had known them?  

Answer: That can certainly be done if the family member is not from several generations back (and has reincarnated). I know that the grandmother I never met in life has come to me.

On Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018 I flew to New England to give a lecture about "How Pets Communicate from the Afterlife" in a new pet boutique called"In the Dog House."

   There was a nice group of people attending and several people had their own experiences with their pets giving signs.   The money raised from the talk was all donated to a local animal rescue.

THREE  SHARED EXPERIENCES

   One woman relayed a vivid dream in which she was in a neighborhood house and she heard the footsteps of her 2 cats who passed coming to the second floor where she was standing atop a stair. She said she awoke from sound!

  Dreams are one way that spirits can give us messages.

  After the talk, a man approached me and explained that he's a farmer, and he was feeling guilt. He explained that one of his cows had a stillbirth. He said he wondered if there was anythiing he could have done. The answer from spirit was "no."   Spirits make their decision to come to Earth even as stillborn children or animals. That was part of their spiritual journey. 

   A third person shared her experiences living in a haunted house.

Pareidolia: Seeing Things That Aren't There; from the Paranormal to Mars

   An image captured by NASA has many people wondering if the muppet Beaker has finally been rocketed into space after a science experiment involving him and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew of Muppet Labs has gone wrong. However, as experts point out, this isn’t an image of a Muppet, just a result of something called pareidolia.  It's the SAME phenomena that paranormal investigators have to be careful about, so they don't jump to conclusions about Earth bound ghosts or spirits.

According to Live Science, pareidolia is “the psychologicalphenomenon of seeing faces (or other familiar patterns) where there aren’t any.”

  

Pareidolia  / parr-i-DOH-lee-ə) is a psychological phenomenon in which the mind responds to a stimulus (an image or a sound) by perceiving a familiar pattern where none exists. It's like seeing a face in a cloud. This means that the human brain, when confronted with images that it can’t decipher, quite often tries to rearrange the image into something it has seen before.

  

In the paranormal field, pareidolia is often also referred to as matrixing or the matrix effect. In this instance, sometimes people think they see images of ghosts in grainy photos when, in reality, their brain has just assembled what they see into something resembling a person.

And, according to Live Science, this isn’t the first time a case of pareidolia has been reported as a result of images from Mars. There have been images taken of Mars where people have likened them to “a smiley face, Gandhi, a spooky shrouded lady and even Jabba the Hutt.”
