A Spirit Sends a Butterfly

Butterflies can be signs from spirit

Spirits can manipulate living things in nature, including butterflies and birds. That was part of a talk I gave at the Belmont Manor in Elkridge, Maryland on February 8th called "Signs from spirit in the Afterlife."

DON'T TAKE IT TO EXTREMES 
It doesn't mean that every time you see a butterfly it's a spirit. That's ridiculous. So, how do you know?  Well, if you're thinking about the person at the time a butterfly appears, and the butterfly lingers and acts oddly. Butterflies usually flit quickly away from people and animals. So, if the butterfly lingers, it's very likely a sign from a loved one.

A WOMAN'S EXPERIENCE  
During the talk, a woman explained that her fiancee passed away.She was thinking of him when she went to the back door of her home to let their dog out into the yard. She said that when she stepped outside, a butterfly appeared around her and circled around her. The butterfly stayed around her for quite a long time so she knew it was her fiancee's spirit giving her reassurance that he was still with her.
  

TIMING - If you're thinking of a loved one when some animal or insect around you behaves oddly, it's likely a sign. Spirits often send us signs around birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, so if it happens around one of those times, it's also likely a sign.

Seeing a Visible Spirit!

A man's grandfather appeared in uniform and in color

At one of my talks at the Belmont Manor in Elkridge, Md. on February 8th I gave a talk called "Signs from Loved Ones in the Afterlife." During the talk, a man about 30 years old, told of seeing his late grandfather appear before him In full color wearing military uniform.
   His grandfather was proud of his service in the military, so the man knew it was his grandfather.

QUESTIONING THE APPEARANCE -  It's normal for us to question the appearance of a spirit. After the man told his story has asked if he could have imagined it. As adults, we always question paranormal events or signs from spirit because we are taught to seek a physical explanation. Our logical minds look for a reason. The man wondered if he was hallucinating.  I assured him that he was not and it was a visit.

UNUSUAL TO SEE FULL-COLOR APPEARANCES - It's not common to see a full body, full-color apparition of a spirit (or even an Earthbound ghost) because it takes a LOT of energy to manifest. In this man's case, the spirit drew on the energy of love that they shared .

ENERGY- As I explain in my books "Ghosts and Spirits" and "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" there are physical and emotional energies that empower spirits (who have crossed over) and Earthbound ghosts to get strong enough to manifest. So, this man's spirit was obviously drawing on the love he had for his granddad.

Over the last year, I've been working hard to complete my fifth paranormal book. This one is very special because it's about my experiences with many ghosts I encountered while on 2 vacations in England. The book is full of fascinating figures I met from the afterlife from a queen to a nobleman, to construction workers in the 17th century. It will also provide you with a background on the history of the locations to better understand the ghosts and why they're still lingering on Earth.
   I recently submitted the book the publisher and am going to review proof copies this weekend.

THE BEST EDITORS, EVER: I'm so grateful for my editors who added British history to better frame the experiences, and provided great edits. Tom, being an "amateur historian" on the Tudors was critical to the edits, as was our friend Anne Marie Clarke who owns Across the Pond Vacations (and who arranged both of our amazing trips to England). 

  NEXT STEP: Once I review the proof copies this weekend, I'll incorporate any edits and review it again. Hopefully, I'll make my March 1 deadline since I have a big paranormal event in late March on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
