What is a Premonition?: My Experience about My Recent Trip: Airplane

On May 19, 2016, a premonition I had (back in April) came true about a plane blowing up on the day we would be coming home from our vacation. My premonition was about a plane departing from the airport we did. It turned our that was exactly what happened to a plane leaving Charles DeGaul airport in Paris, headed to Cairo, Egypt. .

As we were preparing for our vacation to Europe, as far back as January 2016 kept getting the sense that an airplane leaving the airport in Paris that we were leaving from would blow up over the ocean. I made sure that a number of people were informed about who we wanted to take care of our dogs for the rest of their lives, in case of emergency. I told my husband what I was doing and he thought I may have been paranoid - but I was being careful because I kept getting a premonition (I didn't tell him about it).

What is a premonition?  Is it tied into an ability to read energy?
 Does it have anything with an ability to communicate with ghosts and spirits?
A premonition is a sense of something that will happen in the future. It's not a "Deja Vu" which is an event that you sense happened before to you and there is nothing you can do to change it.

In my book "Ghosts and Spirits: Insights from a Medium" by Rob Gutro, (BEING RE-ISSUED/UPDATED IN SEPT. 2016) the spirit of my dog Buzz gave me a premonition that if I walked my new dog in the same area where Buzz was killed on the 1 year anniversary of Buzz's death, the dog's leash would open as it did with Buzz (causing his death when he ran across the street), so I heeded the premonition, and fortunately I did because I as walked with my dog Dolly thought a wooded area instead, her leash mysteriously opened. It really scared me, and I took her right back home.

According to CNN on May 21, "New clues emerged Friday about EgyptAir Flight 804, but there were no answers as to what caused the plane to go down in the Mediterranean Sea.There were smoke alerts near the airliner cockpit early Thursday in the minutes before it crashed, according to flight data CNN obtained Friday from an Egyptian source. The data came through the Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS)...The plane carrying 66 people disappeared while flying from Paris to Cairo.Egyptian officials say they suspect terrorism, but no group has come forward to claim credit. No survivors have been found, but searchers in the Mediterranean Sea located debris on Friday, including suitcases and human remains."

Every week I get MANY emails about people asking me to connect to their pets in spirit, and I try my best to answer them in a timely basis (but I have to do it on my free time after work and family time). I always watch Norene's shows. This is not something I normally do but there were a few things you touched on that I feel happened to me this week.

If I do not hear back from you that's is fine as I know you are probably sitting with a massive inbox lol

I feel I have dreams from passed family members. My last dream was of a family member telling me to really think where my best friend treasure came from. Treasure is my bff cat lol

I had a dog when I was young and His name was Sammy.  Well, sitting outside a dog looking like Sammy was running back and forth in front of me in a playful fashionl  Then he was gone and that reminded me of your look alike/Doppelganger stories. 

Pets and the Afterlife 2 by Rob Gutro

A few years ago I lost my dog Fred who was 18. Now and again I smell him and after your show I guess it is a visit :)

One more is my cat kitty poo who I think was poisoned by neighbors and he passed away.  Well there are times I feel the sensation of his tail curling around my legs. 

Also, my father has indicated he has his dog and mine in spirit as per the conversations I feel I had with him in spirit.

There is a crazy experience I have had the past few summers sitting in my yard. Each time I sit or work in my yard, I always have white butterflies trying to sit on me. At times I have had to go into the house as I don't like bugs lollol  (ROB'S NOTE: Butterflies, other insects, birds and animals can all be influenced by Spirit to visit you as a sign they're around. - just like in Brenda's NEXT story below! )

Here is my last story:  I was outside with a grinder facing under the car and working on it for my son. The grinder is loud and I was amazed to turn around to be eye to eye with a male duck watching me lol My dad loves ducks and I wonder if he sent him. (ROB'S NOTE: Her dad DID send the duck. Anything that we can directly associate with a person in spirit was sent from them!)

  Really enjoyed the talk, Rob. I was wishing during the talk that I would get a message from Pyewackett, my 18 year old cat who transitioned last year. When I returned home, I was lead to check files on my memory chip and found a whole set of pictures I had taken of Pyewackett and forgotten about :D Looking forward to reading your books.

What if we helped terminally ill people pass as we do with pets?

    I've received many emails from people who have made the choice to euthanize their terminally sick and dying pets, and recently found an organization that is striving to allow terminally ill people to pass with dignity. This has been a controversial topic throughout much of the U.S. for many years. 

   Moderate U.S. religions have supported the choice, while conservative U.S. religions look down upon it (although for some reason, they don't have an issue with it when it comes to pets who have the intelligence of a 4-5 year old child). 

   As someone who talks with spirit all the time, they would rather not have endured the suffering that prolonged the agony and feelings of helplessness of their family and friends. 

  I feel that it should not be governed by religion, however, just as allowing a precious pet to pass with dignity is not ruled by religion. From the messages I've received, People should have the right to choose how they want to pass. There are some places in the U.S. that do allow people to make that choice, although not many.

   So, where is it legal? As of March, 2016, Physician aid in dying (PAD), or assisted suicide, is legal in the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Vermont and Bernalillo County, New Mexico; its status is disputed in Montana.

    I know this is a controversial topic, and I know many people have opinions based on their religions, but I'm asking you to put your religion aside and think about this topic from a human perspective. 

   What choice would you personally make? 

   I do remember that my mother suffered for several days in a vegetative state after a stroke totally disabled her. I know her spirit was conscious of her physical body's state, because she conveyed that. She was in a U.S. state that didn't allow assisted passing, and watching her suffer was something that was troubling.
