Supernatural sites in the UK Avebury Stone Circle

The UK Daily Star Online provided a look at some haunted locations around Britain.I also had the pleasure of visiting England and you can read about my encounters with the ghosts there in my book "Ghosts of England on a Medium's Vacation," available on Amazon.   Here's today's haunt:  

Avebury Stone Circle

Home to Europe’s largest stone circle, the site at Avebury, Wiltshire, dates back between 4,000BC to 2,400BC. Believed to be an ancient religious site where our ancestors worships numerous gods of nature, the – the ancient stones were unknown for centuries until they were rediscovered in 1938. The stones had been buried in pits – perhaps in a bid to banish the ancient idols – in the 14th century. But when archaeologists made the discovery they found a skull buried under one of the stones, perhaps as part of a tragic accident. Today there have been sightings of strange ghostly figures and the sound of singing despite no humans being seen.
