Video Proof: My Mom's Spirit Visit: Playing with Lights

On Monday, April 6th I was teleworking when my mom's spirit visited our house and made her presence known by manipulating electricity and I had the wherewithal to videotape and try to debunk it in the 30 seconds it was happening.
   We have a nice sun porch where I telework when the temperatures warm enough outside to warm the porch to a comfy 70 degrees Fahrenheit. On Monday, temperatures were higher than that outside (finally!) and the sun porch was the place to work.
  Around 3 p.m. EDT, our three dogs who were sitting on the carpet in the sun porch and on a bed in the kitchen, started barking. I didn't hear anything, but I got a headache in the back of my head, which is always indicative to me of a ghost (earth bound) or spirit (that crossed over). I got up and turned around and went into the kitchen to find the chandelier light over our kitchen table turning bright, and turning dim!  I sensed a woman's spirit in the kitchen. I whipped out my cell phone and videotaped the lights, and then walked over to the switch and tapped on the switch to show they were in the "OFF" position.
   HOW CAN SPIRITS AFFECT ELECTRICITY? - Because they're energy, they have the ability to manipulate electricity, and make lights go dim or bright. 
   WHAT DID I DO? -    I acknowledged the spirit, but because the dogs also saw her and wouldn't stop barking (they knew my mom in the physical sense, and obviously they recognized her because it was a happy bark, not an irritated bark). The barking, however, was distracting so I couldn't hone in on the identity of the spirit. I solved that shortly thereafter.
  SOLVING THE MYSTERY OF THE SPIRIT IDENTITY- Earlier that day I wrote a story about a tropical cyclone and for some reason used the title of a Beatles song from 1969 called "Come Together, Right Now." I don't have Beatles music and never listened to them all that much (don't judge!), but was inspired to use that song title. Keep that in mind, because SPIRITS CAN INFLUENCE OUR THOUGHTS.  About 2 hours later I was driving to a chiropractor appointment and said "Okay, give me a clue to your identity." That's when the Beatles song "Let it Be" came on the radio, and the line "Mother Mary Come to Me" stood out. My mother used to identify with that line (no, her name wasn't Mary)- because Mary was her favorite "saint." That confirmed for me that it was my Mom. She was saying hello for some reason (although she was around again on Easter an influenced me to bake a bunny cake that I hadn't made in over a decade and used to bake for her when I was a teenager living at home). So, Mom is around. I'm listening for another clue to see if she's hanging around for more than a "Hello."

On Thursday, April 16th "Pets and the Afterlife" had some great rankings on Amazon.com.  That means more people who lost pets are finding out about the book and learning how to see signs from their pets on their own!  That means more people will find comfort and peace knowing their pets are still around them from the other side. Book Review and Giveaway! "Love Never Dies by Dr. Jamie Turndorf"

Here are my thoughts on "Love Never Dies by Dr. Jamie Turndorf"
     I found the book very helpful in guiding people to learn how to tune into spirit messages, and particularly liked Dr. Turndorf's guidance through meditations. In Parts two and three, Dr. Turndorf covered so many of the ways that spirits convey messages and this book will be a great help for people trying to get in touch with their loved ones.
    Part 1 was her story of losing the love of her life. The intense grief and agony she experienced and conveyed after losing Jean Pin would really benefit people who had recently lost a loved one and were going through the same intensity of grief. Reading about the pain and agony she experienced and SO MANY people experience, will be healing to know that others experience the same emotions after the passing of a loved one.  I think the first part could be a book on it's own merit because it is so beneficial to people dealing with the same intensity of grief.
   As a scientist myself, I was glad to read that she didn't focus on a religion. As a medium, I have come to know that "god" not of a religion, but is the consciousness of all living things. Like Dr. Turndorf I've learned that all people are equal and all creatures part of all existence (and with "souls.").
   I particularly enjoyed reading how she used her talent/mediumship to help people overcome their grief. Readers will get a lot out of this book and know that their loved ones are always connected. - Rob Gutro

Cemetery Vandalism - Emotionally Damaging to a Family and Friends

  The highest insult and hurt you can cause people who lost a loved one is to desecrate a grave. It's bad enough that families and friends have lost a loved one. Vandalism to a grave is emotionally damaging to family and friends. I bring this up, because there was an incident in the news that was apparently politically motivated.
  By the way, whenever people commit vandalism in cemeteries the dead are watching, and karma will catch up to them.
  Often, young adults have been found to "hang out" in cemeteries and even party, destroying grounds, gravestones and destroying historic markers. 
   This week, the desecration of a gravesite was done on purpose by someone

who opposes a political candidate. Regardless of your political leanings, a person's family graves are off-limits. These are respectful places for the remains of those who passed and places where the living can go to grieve, talk to the spirits and find peace. 

ARTICLE: Gravestone Of Hillary Clinton's Father Toppled In Possible Act Of Vandalism 

Police are looking into whether vandals knocked over the headstone on the grave of Hillary Clinton's father, the Scranton Times-Tribune reported Wednesday.  Scranton Police Chief Carl Graziano told the newspaper that the the department received a report that Hugh Rodham's headstone had been toppled Tuesday morning in Washburn Street Cemetery. He suggested that vandals may have tipped it over. 

No other headstones in the cemetery were reported to have been knocked over, police told local TV station WNEP. The stone was put back in place Tuesday afternoon, according to the Scranton Times-Tribune.

My Friend Jim Gets Confirmation from His Dad's Spirit: Moving Day

Spirits can give messages that they're around us in many ways. One of the most common ways is through coins. The  year on the coin is the best way to identify which spirit is paying you a visit.
  On Saturday, April 11, I received an email from my good friend Jim, who was moving out of the house that he lived in for the last 7 years. He had recently experienced a divorce, and was dealing with being on his own again. There was one spirit who apparently knew that he needed to know he really wasn't alone.

I remember you saying that our dear departed will leave coins for us...well I found a penny today while moving. Year was 1994...year my dad passed...
