Today's Tarot Tuesday with Joy Andreasen presents "The Chariot." 
  Joy says: Today is a day when you may have some obstacles to overcome in order to move forward. Remember that obstacles don't have to be a bad thing. Some times obstacles come along to make you stronger. Sometimes they come to delay your plans when your plans are not in your best interests. Sometimes they come to teach you an important lesson. Sometimes obstacles come along just because life is that way and there is no good reason. The best part is, nothing is permanent. Life is fluid, always changing, always shifting. Look at any obstacles you face today as a step moving you in the direction you need to be in. Be open to a shift in direction. Know that the only thing that will never change is that there will always be change.

Today's Tarot Tuesday with Joy Andreasen presents "the Seven of Swords," about secrets. 
  Joy says: This card doesn't come up much for me. This is the card of secrets, lies, or stealing. When this card shows up Spirit is indicating that someone is not being truthful or maybe that I am not being truthful to myself. Possibly it could mean the feeling that you need to steal away and be by yourself. Whichever way you interpret this card, today may be a day to demand honesty, either from yourself or others. Be up front so that you are not misunderstood. Know that nothing ever stays a secret forever. The truth will eventually come out. Better be up front now than be discovered later.

Spirits Show Up When You Need Them!

My mom in April 2013, she passed 8 months later

It's Saturday, April 28, and I wasn't going to post a blog today, but my mom's spirit wanted me to know she's been around as I've had a stressful week. 

My mom passed in Dec. 2013, just 8 months after this picture was taken of her in front of her house. This picture came up today in my personal Facebook page, dated April 2013. It was no surprise, really, because she and my dad (who also passed) are often around me.

Yesterday, she was there when I heard Dolly Parton's "Here you Come Again," - a song that holds a special memory as mom and I loved singing it together. 

She knows I've been stressed about work lately and needed some comfort. Spirits always come around when you need them.
