Today's blog is a question and answer session from emails
that I've received about ashes and urns.
Q: When my Aunt spread my grandfather ashes, 3 minutes
later I notice white smoke coming from the ground that was a foot away from the
spreading of the ashes...... Could that have be his spirit???
A: It could be a
number of things. 1) moisture on the ground scattered as a result of dropping
something on it 2) dust stirred up from dropping something on it. 3) OR it
could have been your grandfather's spirit coming back to visit to thank her for
scattering his ashes as he requested.
Q: My mother's dog is afraid of my father's urn but I
don't know why.
A: From time to time, your father's spirit may visit, as
spirits often do. Usually around birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, so that
could be part of the issue. If there is anything shiny on the urn, like a
silver or gold, that tends to frighten dogs.
Q: Mom died six weeks ago, and we had her cremated. We
have her urn in the living room. We haven't sensed her presence yet, but I'm
trying to keep an open mind about it. If she is inclined to visit, but Dad and I
move to another house, would she be able to find us if we put the urn in the
new house? Or would she only be able to look for us in the house she'd lived
in?
A: Yes she can
find you wherever you go, since she's crossed over. . Your mom's energy is
connected to you so she'll find you. Only earth-bound ghosts are fixed to a
location - your mom is a spirit and has
crossed over!
