Pets Reincarnate, but at a Certain Time!

If you've lost a pet know that they do come back, but they won't until after you and everyone they know has passed.
  WHY?  Because like humans, they wait on the other side for everyone they associated with the physical world to pass away. That way, they will be waiting for you when it's your time. And our pets wait with tails wagging in the light.

WILL THEY REINCARNATE WITH YOU? Yes. Your pet will reincarnate after you pass and come back when you do and be together with you in another life. Just like your human relatives and friends all come back when you do - they're always going to be connected to you as will your pets.
 
  NEW PET SHOWING SAME HABITS- One question I get often is "My new dog (or cat) is doing something that my dog (or cat) who passed used to do. Is it my pet reincarnated?
  No.  Your dog or cat is waiting for you on the other side. 
  THE EXPLANATION - Your pet who passed visits in spirit to "train" the new pet to show them a habit or two (and maybe not a good one) that they had in life.
  WHY? So you will know that the spirit of your dog or cat is still very much around!

Why do other pets show similar habits as those who passed?

Does a cat spirit possess another cat?

Sometimes you'll see other pets take on some of the same habits as your pets that passed. Is that because they're taking over them? Or have they been reincarnated?

Here's an email asking a similar question, and my answer:

QUESTION:  My amazing cat PSYCHPUFF died a few years ago and appears to be, on and off, inhabiting the body of another white cat that now belongs to a person that she had had a very close relationship to. This cat then behaves EXACTLY like PSYCHOPUFF used to behave, specific tricks and behaviours. Have you come across this ever?

ANSWER:   Yes, I've encountered that before. What's happening is that Psychpuff (cute name!) is not inhabiting the body of the other cat, but has been teaching the other cat to do some of the same things that Psychpuff did.   The reason why is because Psychpuff wants you to know that she's still around you. By "training" the other cat to have similar habits that she had, you now know that Psychpuff is very much alive and well in the afterlife.

Q&A: Do Pets Reincarnate?

One question that I get often is "Do dogs or cats (or any pets) reincarnate?" 

ANSWER: Yes, every living thing reincarnates. All living things including people and animals reincarnate. Every living thing has a soul, which is basically, the energy within, plus memories, personalities and knowledge.
   However, they typically all wait to come back until everyone they know in this life has crossed over.

    I've heard from some pet parents who lost a dog or a cat who have said after their pet passed away, they adopted another dog or cat, and that new pet shows some of the same habits that their pet who passed had! 
   So, people have wondered if their dog or cat had been reincarnated. The answer to that is "no."  What's happening is that the spirit of their late pet comes back and trains the new pet with some of the habits they had during their time on Earth.  That doesn't mean that the newly adopted pet is taught the "good" habits!

   For example, if your newly adopted dog turns over their food bowl when hungry, and your previous dog did that, your dog in spirit has likely taught the new dog to do that.
