Part 3: Horse Sensing a Ghost on the Trail

In my book "Pets and the Afterlife" I mention that horses, dogs and cats have the ability to see, hear and smell ghosts and spirits. Following are three stories from readers whose horses may have experienced a ghost or spirit.
This is the third of 3 stories about horses seeing ghosts or spirits as shared by readers:

Digger noted: There is a spot on our trail ride that our horses are terrified of as we approach they try to turn around if we make them walk on they snort and sweat and are very frightened and when we do turn around they literally bolt until away from area these are really slow forward moving Clydesdales that is an effort to get them to trot let alone gallop there is also a definite cold spot near a big concrete water tank (no lid) can they be sensing something bad

I responded to Digger's note with an explanation of what is happening:   It may not be something bad that they're seeing- just someone who passed. Sometimes when horses, dogs or cats see spirits or ghosts, they can sometimes be unnerved by them. They can hear and see them, and sometimes the entities don't have any scent (it takes a ghost or spirit a lot of energy to just appear, so the odor or scent is not as important when they appear). The lack of scent will confuse a horse/dog or cat.
