Gutro is more recognized for his work on hurricanes at the U.S. Space agency NASA, but has recently published the book based on his inherited ability to communicate with Earth-bound ghosts or spirits.
"I'm looking forward to coming to the U.K. in the next year and visiting many of the haunted places," Gutro added. "Encounters with ghosts in the U.K. would be an entire book in itself, and one that I would love to write," he said.

Readers will learn the difference between ghosts and spirits and the ways they attempt to communicate with the living. Gutro will also share true stories of paranormal encounters submitted from his friends around the U.S. After each story, Rob explains the encounter and what the entity is trying to communicate. The book also highlights the author's experiences on ghost walks in various cities or in historic places around the U.S. "The purpose of the book is to educate people about what happens after their loved ones pass," Gutro said.
