A Nice Note I Received After a Reading

Every week I get many emails and I try to respond to them. Recently, I provided a couple of signs to Alison from her cat Fuzzy and received this nice note back. It's not common today for people to send thank you notes, or notes of appreciation, so when you get them they make you feel good. Here's the note Alison sent me:

Hi Rob,

What a wonderful message you sent! I so appreciate you taking the time to write me, and to talk about Fuzzy like you did. You are such a wonderful and kind person, and definitely have played a huge role in the slow healing of my heart.

Last night I heard scratching on my table next to my bed, where Fuzzy used to  scratch her little paws. While I am such a believer in spirit, you’re right, my grief is making me think of excuses why it isn’t her. Your email brought such a smile to my face, when I really needed it the most.

I will look for Fuzzy’s feather; while I have asked her to visit me in my dreams before, I think I’ve been too sad to really experience it. I will definitely ask her again every night until she shows up. Bedtime is always when I feel the saddest.

I cannot thank you enough for writing me back, I have never met you, but you feel like the friend I really needed right now.

I love the story of Sprite and his square dish, it made me both empathize with you and smile for him. I hope he and Fuzzy are playing together, happy and whole!

All the best to you, what a kind, magnificent soul you are!

Take care,
Alison

Part 2 of 3: Multiple Worlds and Quantum Theory

In part 2 of this 3 part blog series: Quantum Theory Proves Consciousness Moves To Another Universe After Death, this blog focuses on Multiple Worlds.

A book titled “Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding the Nature of the Universe”   contains a notion that life does not end when the body dies, and it can last forever.
The author of this publication, scientist Dr. Robert Lanza who was voted the 3rd most important scientist alive by the NY Times, has no doubts that this is possible.

2. MULTIPLE WORLDS

This hope-instilling, but extremely controversial theory by Lanza has many unwitting supporters, not just mere mortals who want to live forever, but also some well-known scientists. These are the physicists and astrophysicists who tend to agree with existence of parallel worlds and who suggest the possibility of multiple universes. Multiverse (multi-universe) is a so-called scientific concept, which they defend. They believe that no physical laws exist which would prohibit the existence of parallel worlds.
The first one was a science fiction writer H.G. Wells who proclaimed in 1895 in his story “The Door in the Wall”. And after 62 years, this idea was developed by Dr. Hugh Everett in his graduate thesis at the Princeton University. It basically posits that at any given moment the universe divides into countless similar instances. And the next moment, these “newborn” universes split in a similar fashion. In some of these worlds you may be present: reading this article in one universe, or watching TV in another.
The triggering factor for these multiplyingworlds is our actions, explained Everett. If we make some choices, instantly one universe splits into two with different versions of outcomes.

In the 1980s, Andrei Linde, scientist from the Lebedev’s Institute of physics, developed the theory of multiple universes. He is now a professor at Stanford University. Linde explained: Space consists of many inflating spheres, which give rise to similar spheres, and those, in turn, produce spheres in even  greater numbers, and so on to infinity. In the universe, they are spaced apart. They are not aware of each other’s existence. But they represent parts of the same physical universe.
The fact that our universe is not alone is supported by data received from the Planck space telescope. Using the data, scientists have created the most accurate map of the microwave background, the so-called cosmic relic background radiation, which has remained since the inception of our universe. They also found that the universe has a lot of dark recesses represented by some holes and extensive gaps.

Theoretical physicist Laura Mersini-Houghton from the North Carolina University with her colleagues argue: the anomalies of the microwave background exist due to the fact that our universe is influenced by other universes existing nearby. And holes and gaps are a direct result of attacks on us by neighboring universes.

From my book: I Met 3 Ghosts of Christmas Past During "A Christmas Carol"

In my book, "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead," there's a chapter about my experiences at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C. when I attended a performance of "A Christmas Carol."
There are four ghosts in Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol," and I met three other ghosts on my visit!
All three of them were actors from the 1800s, and one was famous. Well infamous!
Two were men, and one didn't give me much information but the other was bold, arrogant and loud. That was the ghost of John Wilkes Booth. What is odd is that his ghost wasn't inside the actual theatre, he was lingering in the gift shop. I also confirmed with employees in the gift shop that they have dealt with many  odd and unexplained happenings.
In the chapter you'll read how two other mediums visited the theater and also ran into Booth's ghost and confirmed his messages and attitude.
The actress that appeared to me provided me with a mental image of her watching the the coffin containing President Lincoln's body as it was driven through the city of Washington, DC on a horse-drawn dark carriage. She showed me what was on the top of it. It was not a U.S. Flag which I would have assumed. So, when I did research I learned that what the ghost showed me was exactly what the coffin was covered with!
Yes, Ford's Theatre is definitely haunted.

Here's what another paranormal website had to say:
The Cabinet.com says: John Wilkes Booth is  believed to haunt the stage itself. According to several actors who have been involved in productions since, if they attempt to deliver their lines at a particular spot on left-center stage, they are overwhelmed with an icy sensation. Some even report becoming overly nauseous or begin shaking uncontrollably, often flubbing their lines in the process. At times, some even report seeing the ghost of Booth running across the stage in escape as he did so many years ago.

HISTORY OF THE FORD THEATRE (from AbovetheNorm-blogspot.com): The building was built in 1833 and was originally a house of worship. In 1861, John T. Ford bought the place and had it renovated into a theater which was originally called Ford’s Athenaeum. Then in 1862 a fire destroyed the place, it was rebuilt, and then opened a year later, and was called Ford’s New Theatre. On April 14, 1865, just three days after General Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House; President Lincoln was shot and killed while enjoying a performance with his wife Mary Todd Lincoln.

Part 1 of 3: "Beyond Time and Space" : Quantum Theory

Quantum Theory Proves Consciousness Moves To Another Universe After Death

A book titled “Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding the Nature of the Universe” has stirred up the Internet, because it contained a notion that life does not end when the body dies, and it can last forever.
The author of this publication, scientist Dr. Robert Lanza who was voted the 3rd most important scientist alive by the NY Times, has no doubts that this is possible.

1. BEYOND TIME AND SPACE

Lanza is an expert in regenerative medicine and scientific director of Advanced Cell Technology Company. Before he has been known for his extensive research which dealt with stem cells, he was also famous for several successful experiments on cloning endangered animal species.
But not so long ago, the scientist became involved with physics, quantum mechanics and astrophysics. This explosive mixture has given birth to the new theory of biocentrism, which the professor has been preaching ever since. Biocentrism teaches that life and consciousness are fundamental to the universe. It is consciousness that creates the material universe, not the other way around.
Lanza points to the structure of the universe itself, and that the laws, forces, and constants of the universe appear to be fine-tuned for life, implying intelligence existed prior to matter. He also claims that space and time are not objects or things, but rather tools of our animal understanding. Lanza says that we carry space and time around with us “like turtles with shells.” meaning that when the shell comes off (space and time), we still exist.

The theory implies that death of consciousness simply does not exist. It only exists as a thought because people identify themselves with their body. They believe that the body is going to perish, sooner or later, thinking their consciousness will disappear too. If the body generates consciousness, then consciousness dies when the body dies. But if the body receives consciousness in the same way that a cable box receives satellite signals, then of course consciousness does not end at the death of the physical vehicle. In fact, consciousness exists outside of constraints of time and space. It is able to be anywhere: in the human body and outside of it. In other words, it is non-local in the same sense that quantum objects are non-local.
Lanza also believes that multiple universes can exist simultaneously. In one universe, the body can be dead. And in another it continues to exist, absorbing consciousness which migrated into this universe. This means that a dead person while traveling through the same tunnel ends up not in hell or in heaven, but in a similar world he or she once inhabited, but this time alive. And so on, infinitely. It’s almost like a cosmic Russian doll afterlife effect.

Article: 7 Steps To Finding A Lost Animal

Our dog Sprite from 2013.
I've received quite a few emails asking me if someone's lost pet is still alive so I thought I'd share this
article from Animal Wellness to help others do things to find their pet and alleviate their concern.

7 Steps To Finding A Lost Animal
Source: https://animalwellnessmagazine.com/7-steps-to-finding-a-lost-animal/

Over the years, your perfect pooch or kitty has wiggled his way into your home and your heart, earning himself a starring role on your family tree. And then the unthinkable happens. He escapes through an open door, jumps a fence, or takes off after a squirrel – and before you know it, he’s lost, despite your frantic searching and calling.
“Most people believe their animals would never go missing, when, in fact, statistics show that one in three will go missing in their lifetime,” says Landa Coldiron, animal detective and owner of Lost Pet Detection. “Many times when people call me, they feel they have done everything possible, when they have not even scratched the surface of what needs to be done.”
If your companion ever goes astray, don’t despair. Follow these seven steps to help bring him safely home again.
1. Plan, don’t panic
It’s easy to panic and imagine all kinds of horrible scenarios when your animal gets lost. You may even be experiencing some of the stages of grief. Hold it right there! He’s missing; he’s out there somewhere, perhaps frightened and seeking your comforting presence. Wasting precious time and energy worrying and speculating is not helping. Planning will help – and put you on the fast track to a successful recovery.
“Just running around, calling for your animal and trying random things at random times and locations can be a huge waste of time,” says Annalisa Berns, animal detective and owner of Pet Search and Rescue. “A plan helps you focus on what you are doing – and what to do next. A plan helps you prioritize the most effective techniques to try first, and what can be put off. It also helps you identify what tasks you can ask friends and family to help with.”
2. Ask for help
You may feel like shutting out the world and doing all the search work yourself. This is never a good idea. “People who work alone in their efforts to recover a lost animal are at risk of discouragement and burnout,” says animal detective Kat Albrecht, founder of Missing Pet Partnership and author of The Lost Pet Chronicles and Dog Detectives.
Friends and family serve as a support system. They also add strength to your search, and that could mean the difference between finding your best friend or not. “For most missing animal scenarios, it is a volume game,” says private investigator Karin TarQwyn. “In my experience, 90% of all missing animals are found due to other people’s eyes and ears. The more people who know your animal is missing, the higher the likelihood of recovery. This is no different from a missing person investigation, except there’s no help from outside agencies and community groups.”
3. Pick up the phone
Talking on the phone is probably the last thing you’ll feel like doing when you can’t find your dog or cat. Being out on the street searching may make you feel more productive. But placing a few all-important calls to get the word out about your missing friend is an important step.
Five locations could be beneficial to your search: local animal control, animal-related businesses, animal shelters, veterinary offices and animal rescue groups. Informing local animal workers and employees about your predicament will raise awareness and keep more people on the lookout for your companion.

4. Supersize your search
Posting pint-sized flyers on telephone poles, stop signs and store windows near your home may seem an effective way to get the word out about your missing animal, but to really attract the public’s attention, supersize your search by using huge posters. It’s far more proactive. “Giant neon posters are by far the number one method to recover lost animals and return them to their rightful families,” says Kat. “Follow the 5 + 5 + 55 rule – five words drivers can read within five seconds while driving 55 miles an hour. In our experience, big strategically-placed posters are one of the most successful techniques for recovering a lost animal.”
5. Network online
Social networking sites aren’t just for catching up with friends from high school or keeping track of family milestones. They are also one of the number one ways for spreading the word about missing animals.
Social media networks such as Facebook allow you to immediately send a “call to arms” about your search to your nearest and dearest – and give your friends the ability to send the alert to everyone in their network, and so on. With the power of social networking sites, half the United States could know about the quest for your dog or cat in less than 30 minutes!
MY TIPS:    **Some Areas have www.Craigslist.com with a Lost Pets section; and there's also www.nextdoor.com that connects you to YOUR neighborhood.   There are also FACEBOOK groups for lost pets in various counties ( just put "lost pets" and your county name to search)
6. Consult a professional
Consistency is key when you start searching for your animal companion. But if you find you are getting nowhere, change things up and think outside the box. It could be the very thing that helps pinpoint his location and bring him home safe and sound. “If you’ve done everything traditional to find your animal, and you haven’t found him, it’s time to think about other techniques and strategies – and consult a professional,” says Annalisa. An animal detective is specially trained in search and rescue and can employ methods you may not know about or have access to. “Of course some animals return home on their own,” Annalisa adds. “However, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association, the chances of a lost animal coming home on his own is only 11%. Don’t count on that.”
7. Just say no…to giving up!
You may feel drained, emotionally and physically, but throwing in the towel and giving up too soon, maybe before your search has even truly started, may be the worst mistake you can make. “Most people become disheartened after only a day or two when their animal goes missing,” says Annalisa. “Keep focused and keep searching – and not just for a few hours or days. I strongly suggest that people search for a minimum of two weeks – if not longer.”
Searching for a lost dog or cat is never easy or pleasant. But following these steps will greatly enhance your chances of finding him again. And recovering a missing companion is the most rewarding feeling in the world!

In the news: Woman Suffers Heart Problems After Dog Dies

Joanie Simpson's Yorkshire terrier, Meha. (Cr:Joanie Simpson)
Since I wrote my book "Pets and the Afterlife" in 2013 and the follow up "Pets and the Afterlife 2" I've been receiving a lot of emails and messages from people who lost their pets. I'm happy to try and provide a message or two from their pets to provide some comfort and a recent study shows the importance of those messages.
Losing a pet is like losing a child. Yes, they're different from human children, but we're 100% responsible for them. It can be devastating. An earlier study showed that we often grieve MORE for our pets than people who passed. - Rob

Woman Suffers Heart Problems After Dog Dies
Article from the Washington Post Oct. 19, 2017(Houston, TX)  --  Doctors say she almost died of a broken heart.  Joanie Simpson was airlifted to a Houston, Texas hospital earlier this year with what seemed to be a heart attack.  In fact, it was a syndrome that looks a lot like a heart attack, usually triggered by the emotions that flood in with the loss of a loved one.  In this case, it was Simpson's Yorkshire terrier.

The case was detailed last week in the "New England Journal of Medicine" as a clear case of what's sometimes called "broken heart syndrome."

A recent study found that people who care for ill pets suffer real physical effects from the burden, including stress and anxiety.
