Today's blog is part 4 in a series about experiences horses had with ghosts or spirits. Animals have the ability to see Earthbound ghosts and spirits (whom crossed over and come back and visit). Today's blog is about a horse that may be seeing a ghost and my response.

If we make them walk on, they snort and sweat and are very frightened. When we do turn around they literally bolt until away from area!
These are really slow forward moving Clydesdales and it is an effort to get them to trot let alone gallop. There is also a definite cold spot near a big concrete water tank(no lid) can they be sensing something bad?
MY RESPONSE: It may not be something bad that they're seeing- just someone who passed. Sometimes when horses, dogs or cats see spirits or ghosts, they can be unnerved by them. They can hear and see them because of the different physiology in their eyes (different cones and rods than humans allow them to see faster movement. Spirits move at that faster vibration). Also sometimes the entities don't have any scent because it takes a ghost or spirit a lot of energy to just appear, so the odor or scent is not as important when they appear. The lack of scent will confuse a horse, dog or cat.
In addition, dogs, cats and horses can also hear at higher decibel ranges. Spirit and ghosts are known to speak at frequencies that are inaudible to the human ear. Paranormal investigators use digital recorders pick up those sounds and voices.
As for the cold spot, it very well could indicate a ghost or spirit. That's because it's all about energy. Entities need energy to manifest and communicate, so they literally draw that energy (of motion) out of the air and affect the air molecules. Fast moving molecules of air are present in warm air. when the energy is removed (by a ghost or spirit so they can energize), the molecules slow down and the air cools.

WHO WAS SECRETARIAT? Secretariat was a legendary thoroughbred racehorse whose name reigns supreme in the history of racing. The stallion with a chestnut coat, three white “socks” and cocky demeanor not only became the first horse in 25 years to win the Triple Crown in 1973.
QUESTION FROM SJ (A blog reader): "Have you ever heard the story about the famous Secretariat's ghost? I read about it online ages ago and I wish I'd kept the link! It's been claimed that at dusk people have heard the thundering hooves of a very fast horse at the Meadow Farm in Virginia (Secretariat's home/birthplace). I never got to see Secretariat race... I'd love to hear his spirit pound the dirt!"
MY TAKE ON THE STORY: I've never heard of a the ghost of Secretariat, but it could be a local legend. I've also been unable to find a reference to the story on-line. My thought is that it's likely the SPIRIT of Secretariat, coming back to visit his childhood home. Ghosts are usually people or pets that stay behind because of unfinished business. Secretariat achieved more than most horses throughout history, so I don't see that as plausible. However, spirits do come back to visit places they grew up in, or loved to go. If Secretariat was seen running in the farm he was born, I'm sure it's his spirit (and he isn't an Earth bound ghost).
VISITING SECRETARIAT'S BIRTHPLACE - The Meadow Event Park, formerly Meadow Stable, is the site where Secretariat was born, raised and first trained. According to the website, educational signage is posted at the historic barns and other points of interest. There are tours of the park and it features a look at the original yearling and stallion barns built in the 1930s. This includes the stall in the yearling barn where Secretariat stayed as a colt in 1971. Also on the tour is Secretariat’s foaling shed where he was born on March 30, 1970. Though it was moved from its original location on the north side, it is the same structure and is listed on the state and national historic registers.
BURIAL PLACE: Secretariat is buried in Kentucky. Secretariat’s grave at Claiborne Farm in Paris, just outside Lexington.

Today's blog is part 2 in a series about experiences horses had with ghosts or spirits. Animals have the ability to see Earthbound ghosts and spirits (whom crossed over and come back and visit). Today's blog is about a story shared from a woman who has horses and her horse appears to see the ghost of a horseman who lived on her land. Here's the story.
(Image credit: Uncharted Lancaster)Kelly told me, "I know my horse sees the long deceased horseman from our Club area. The man is buried on the hill above left of our parcel of land. There's an indoor arena there, and it happens at night or at dusk when I am leading him in or out of the indoor arena. It is always after I have shut off the lights off. My horse jumps out of his skin about 90% of the time so I know he sees something."
Today's blog is part 1 in a series about experiences horses had with ghosts or spirits. Animals have the ability to see Earthbound ghosts and spirits (whom crossed over and come back and viisit). Today's blog is about a story shared from a gentleman from Africa about his experience>
During a lecture I gave several years ago, a gentleman who had moved from the African Continent to the U.S. told me that in his homeland it is widely known that horses can see Earth-bound ghosts and spirits (who have crossed). The man (whose named escaped me) said that in his The gentlemen proceeded to tell me more about the African belief. He said that it's known that when a horse sees a ghost or spirit, you can look directly in their eyes and see the ghost that they are looking at. Fascinating! If you missed this amazing 3 hour YouTube episode of Paranormal Soup, you can watch it here. Jason Bland, host of Paranormal Soup Radio welcomed back Rob Gutro to talk about his new book Pets and the Afterlife 3: Dog Spirits. It was a fantastic and fascinating conversation that covered so many aspects of spirit and ghost communication regarding pets. There were also several callers, and one gentleman who got a Pet reading from Rob weeks before had called in to share his story that went from skepticism to believing. It originally aired on Sunday/Mon. Feb. 21-22 11:30 pm EST to 2 am EST Here is the video! VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/oiVHvArhs4E
Today, February 22nd, is the anniversary of the tragic day my Weimaraner puppy, Buzz, was tragically killed by a car at 7 months old. But like everyone, we all have a purpose, and Buzz, through his continual messages and signs from the afterlife, taught me how pets communicate from the other side. Buzz changed the world. Today's blog explains how he did just that.
Buzz's signs from moving objects, to the sounds of his feet walking around the house after his passing, to jingling a collar, visibly appearing, leading me and others to look-alikes, and even using music as signs helped open my abilities to communicate with pets on the other side. Buzz also inspired me to write my first book "Ghosts and Spirits" which has an entire chapter devoted to those many first signs.
Since he passed in 2005, and since the first book came out in 2010, and I was inspired to write "Pets and the Afterlife (1)" that published in 2014, I've heard from thousands of pet parents around the world. I've provided thousands of messages from pets in the afterlife. Thanks to Buzz, I've been able to offer understanding how pets communicate from the other side, and help people through their loss and grief.
Since then, I've published 2 more books in the series, "Pets and the Afterlife 2" and "Pets and the Afterlife 3: Messages from Spirit Dogs." They've all attained "Best seller status on Amazon, so I know they're reaching people and hopefully bringing comfort.
I'm writing this today, because today marks 16 years since Buzz left me physically, but he continues to be around in spirit. You'll see Buzz's photo on the front cover of Pets and the Afterlife (1). Like your pets in spirit, he's always around, and it doesn't matter how long he's been physically gone. He's still here.
