Exorcising Dogs or Poor Spelling?

When people misspell words it can be as funny as it is sad. The misspelled word makes you think of the paranormal, so I thought I would share this!
 You would think who the people that make signs would have a better grasp on the language. Unfortunately, some don't and that was evidenced by this sign in a park... telling people not to "Exorcise" their dogs in a certain location.
  "Exorcising" means to drive demons or ghosts out of a living being.
  "Exercising" means to move your body to improve physical fitness.
  For those who think their dog needs to be exorcised, perhaps the dog needs obedience training. Or maybe you are craving a Drake's bakery Devil Dog pastry!

Happy Thanksgiving!  
   It's important to give thanks for even the little things we have, and in doing so, it makes us realize that life is a gift.  I'm thankful for family, friends and especially our 4 canine kids. 

  I'm also thankful to all of you, who have read my books, have met me in person, or have emailed me. I've grown to know so many people from all over the world through the publication of my books, and I've hopefully brought a lot of healing.


LOVED ONES ARE AROUND YOUR TABLE - For those who have lost loved ones this year or 30 years ago, it makes no difference when it comes to being around you today. 
Spirits of loved ones usually come around on holidays (and other special times). So keep an eye out for signs. Whether you see someone who looks like your grandmother that passed, smell a perfume your late mother used to wear, or saw a tie that reminded you of your dad or grand-dad, those are some of the many signs they will use to convey their presence. 
  
FOR THOSE ALONE TODAY - If you find yourself working, or physically alone, know that there's always someone who misses you today and cares about you- and is giving thanks that you're in their lives. The spirits of your loved ones also surround you, whether a person or a pet in spirit. They're with you.

 Merry Cemetery, Romania

 The words "merry" and "cemetery" don't usually go together, but in this cemetery in Romania, each headstone is colorfully decorated with the life story of the person it belongs to. Săpânţa's Merry Cemetery is unique in its retelling of the lives and deaths (often gruesome) in a cheerful way, complete with illustrations and unusually detailed epigraphs.

While charming, if you can read Romanian, you'll see that the wooden crosses reveal a lot about the deceased. Calling out the dead for their infidelity or over-indulgence, the Merry Cemetery's graves are much more straightforward than our typical impersonal Western traditions would be comfortable with.

New Hampshire! The Union Leader newspaper published the full story on Nov,. 22, 2019. This town hall is known for ghosts, though, so it's not the first incident.
 Public access video captures ghostly movement in Epping Town Hall

Nov. 22, 2019:  EPPING, NH - Long believed to be haunted, Epping Town Hall's resident apparition is enjoying another 15 seconds of fame thanks to public access cable. Things had quieted down since ghost hunters investigated the 19th century brick building six years ago. But on Monday night, during a regular broadcast of a selectman's meeting, a mysterious happening was captured on video that has Town Administrator Greg Dodge and others a little spooked. A piece of paper seemed to pick itself up and cover the microphone during the meeting!

 HISTORIC HAUNTINGS - The National Paranormal Association reported these incidents and more:

1.  The sound of footsteps crossing the creaky wooden floors.
2. Doors opening and closing.
3. A person whispering.
4. Objects being tossed into the air. "I hear things all the time. I expect it now," said Town Administrator Gregory Dodge, who wonders if the Epping Town Hall is haunted. And he's not the only one. 
5.  A pen once flew out of nowhere and landed on the desk of town clerk administrative assistant Michele Murphy. She thought a co-worker had thrown it at her, but she hadn't. "There was nobody there," she said. 
6.  Police Detective Marc Turner and other officers often heard footsteps late at night when the police department was located in the town hall's basement, until it moved in 2001. "You could hear the footsteps. You'd go up there and search the building and nothing. That happened on many occasions," Turner said.

Cimetière des Chiens, France

No list of weird and wacky cemeteries would be complete without at least one pet cemetery, and the Cimetière des Chiens, France is the oldest pet burial ground in the modern world. First opened on the banks of the Seine in 1899, it gave devoted pet owners a place to lay their pets to rest.

Most of the pets buried here are dogs and cats, but if you look closely, you can find the graves of birds, sheep, rabbits, monkeys, and even a lion. The famous trench-dog-turned-Hollywood-star, Rin Tin Tin, was returned to Paris to be buried here after his death in 1932.
