Meet: the Very Special Sharon Ramirez author of Phantomology 101

Meet Sharon Ramirez, the author of Phantomology 101 and paranormal  investigator. This is an amazing story of Sharon's friend Margaret, who found a way to make Sharon's first book into a reality, as Sharon battles a serious illness.

I was introduced to Sharon in December through my friend Margaret, who manages Inspired Ghost Tracking. Margaret told me that Sharon wrote a book 2 years ago about the history of ghosts and ghost hunting, but was unable to publish it  because Sharon had been battling cancer. Having now published 2 of my own books, I happily agreed to help out with edits, revisions and

the publishing process. So, I corresponded mostly with Margaret over the course of a couple of months to get photos and direction for the book as Sharon found it difficult to talk during her treatments. I did have some communication with Sharon directly until we got closer to publishing. 

After working back and forth with Margaret to get pictures and answers on formatting, and revisions, I was thrilled to see the proof copy of the book arrive. After going through the proof and making more revisions, the book was ready.  The book was recently published through Createspace.com and is available on Amazon.com for $7.99. Sharon's dream of publishing her first book had come true thanks to Margaret's drive to help her friend.

Sharon celebrates her first book

Last week, I attended Sharon's first book signing event  and finally met her in person after months of working through Margaret and later with Sharon via text and email to make the book a reality. What a wonderful sight to see an entire room packed with supporters who bought Sharon's book and listened to her give a brief overview. Sharon was glowing and it was so rewarding to Margaret, me, her brother Rodney (who as also there) and so many others from Inspired Ghost Tracking.

For several years, Sharon Ramirez worked for one of the most prominent law firms in the Baltimore area of which one of her duties were spent helping to research the Law Library. She then moved on into the field of property management and real estate. Because of her legal background, she was appointed corporation court representative on all cases filed on their behalf. It was not long afterwards that she suffered a serious illness that resulted in a NDE (near-death experience) that changed her life forever!!! She went back to seriously researching again, but this time it was for answers to something more unusual...paranormal phenomena and the truth to life-after-death. Sharon Ramirez founded and formed Maryland TriState Paranormal, researching and investigating spirit & ghost phenomena throughout the Delmarva and Mid-Atlantic Region for the past decade. Her work has been featured in "The Frederick News Post," "The Examiner," mentioned in Michael Varhola's latest book, "Ghosthunting Maryland," and more. Amazing Message from a Little Boy

I usually have to clear my mind to get messages from ghosts or spirits and that means either concentration or relaxation. One place that my mind goes blank is in the shower, and that's where I've received a lot of messages. Moving water helps spirits by giving them energy to communicate.

  On Wednesday, March 27th when I was taking a shower I suddenly heard a little boy say "my name is Andy. Andy Andrew. In my mind he showed me that he was wearing red overalls and a blue shirt and sneakers and had dark colored hair (brown or black) and was wearing it in bangs.  He was about 3-4 years old. He then pointed to a boxy truck - that looked like a toy- boxy meaning firetruck-like or a small box truck. That meant that there was some importance to it.   - He also said, "Tell mom and dad that I'm okay here, and not to worry. Everything is good." 
  I couldn't figure out whom he belonged to, and who his mom and dad were, but I know that they're both still alive. Here's where the mystery became clear.
  The next night, my partner Tom and I attended a book signing event for a woman associated with the Inspired Ghost Tracking Group we belong to. Sharon Ramirez was autographing her book "Phantomology 101," and many of the group members were present at the signing (which occurred in a room at a local restaurant).
   Tom and I sat at a table with some of the members and enjoyed dinner and conversation. After Sharon talked about her book and began signing them, I moved over to another table to talk with our friends Ronda and Nancy. Ronda spoke about her uncle that passed away recently and how he was not a nice person. I sensed that her uncle is currently Earth-bound for that very reason. As we were talking about ghosts and spirits, I mentioned that I had a visitor and message from the night before.
  Nancy, who was sitting across the table from me, gasped when I said the little boy said his name was "Andy - Andrew." I told her the rest of the details, and she told me she had chills.

  Nancy told me that about 35 years ago or so, a little boy named "Andy Andrews" who lived in her neighborhood with his mom and dad, had passed away around age 3 or 4. She recalled that he wore his hair in bangs, just as I saw Andy appear to me. She immediately the significance of the box truck. Andy's father used to drive an ice-cream truck, which is a boxy truck.
  I told Nancy that Andy wants to let his parents know he's okay. Nancy said she would check to see if one of the parents still lived in the neighborhood, because they got divorced after Andy's premature death.
  What does that mean? Spirits, like Andy, know that upcoming events in our lives will lead us to someone to convey their message to the appropriate people. That's why Andy came to me when he did. Just another lesson I learned from the dead. Hopefully, Nancy will be able to contact one or both of Andy's parents and tell them the comforting message I received.

Sage: Effects on Ghosts or Spirits?

Yesterday, March 16, I gave an introduction at Barb Mallon's medium event. I talked about how springtime is a time of rebirth for vegetation, as becoming a ghost or spirit is another step in our lives.

  After the event, I met and talked with many of the people who attended as I did a short book signing. One woman who recently lost a daughter asked me about whether burning sage would keep away the spirit of her daughter. Good question!
  Sage has been used for hundreds of years, starting with Native Americans (Hopi tribe) to keep evil entities away. I've read that "White Sage" is preferred. Sage also comes in liquid spray form, too, to make it easier to cleanse an area. Although Sage helps with clearing negativity, the most important thing to do if you have an Earth-bound ghost in the house is to talk to the ghost and tell them they are no longer welcome there.
 - Sage clears negativity and Earth-bound ghosts, which are comprised of and emit negative energy. Ghosts are powered by negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, anger, depression.
 - Because Spirits who cross into the light and return from time to time are comprised of positive energy, Sage does not affect them. Spirits are powered and drawn to us from positive emotions of love, faith and hope.
