On Thursday, May 3 I had a great interview with Lee, a host of the Paravizionz Internet Radio show called "Looking Into The Unknown" on Ztalkradio.com. During the interview I was asked when I first learned I had the ability to communicate with people and pets who passed. What's interesting is that I learned early in life, but didn't come to understand and master my abilities until I suffered losses of loved ones, specifically a puppy. Lee, the host, said that his abilities to sense ghosts and spirits were enhanced after his daughter passed away.
I first realized I had an ability to sense spirits and ghosts when I was 13 and my grandfather appeared to me as a full-body apparition. Throughout the years, I had different experiences, but paid little attention to them.
- It wasn't until my 6 month old puppy, Buzz, passed and kept coming back to me in words, pictures, symbols, music, events, audibly and also as an apparition. He awakened my abilities and unlocked them. Three years later my dad passed and messages basically came in waves.
- Lee said that he knew he could "feel things" but it wasn't until his daughter passed, that he could get messages. He said that when he goes on ghost investigations he knows his daughter's spirit is with him, offering guidance and telling him what he should and shouldn't do (provoking ghosts with bad attitudes is not a good idea). He said the he gets messages from her and she's awakened his ability.
- So, the loss of a loved one can trigger your abilities and give you that connection to the energies that are ghosts and spirits (although no one wants to lose anyone they love, to get the abilities). Other ways people have been known to awaken their abilities has been noted when they're in car accidents or suffering severe illnesses. There's something to our connections to our loved one's energies that we tap into - after all, ghosts and spirits are all about energy, as living, breathing people are about energy- in thought and soul.
In short, it's like we get a jolt of energy from the other side, either through the loss of loved ones or our own health crises. Of course, you don't have to experience either of those to tap into the energy. Just be more open minded, aware of signs and symbols, and don't be so quick to discount them.
