Paranormal Q&A: What do you think is the difference between ghosts and spirits?

Each week, I'll answer a question about the paranormal, whether a general question, or one about human or animal ghosts (Earthbound) or spirits (crossed over). Here's this week's question: 

Q: What do you think is the difference between ghosts and spirits?

A: That question distinguished me from others in the paranormal community. There are differences and similarities between ghosts and spirits.

After our physical bodies die, the energy within couples with our memories, personality and knowledge. We make a choice to stay Earthbound at a fixed location - what I call a ghost, or cross over and join the energies of the universe- which I call a spirit.

Both entities use energy to manifest and let us know they're there and give messages . Think of either entity as a lightbulb needing a charge to light up. They both use physical and emotional energies. Physical energies include: Heat, light, water and electricity. Negative emotional energies are only used to strengthen ghosts, and they include: fear, anxiety, depression and anger. Positive emotional energy such as love, faith and hope enable spirits to strengthen.

Ghosts, despite their personalities emit negative energy, and cause the living to experience discord in their actions with other living people. That's why you shouldn't live with a ghost.
