Purpose of this Blog

Rob Gutro is an author, paranormal investigator and medium with Inspired Ghost Tracking of Maryland. Since he was a child he could receive messages from ghosts or spirits (who have crossed over). *He wrote the books "Pets and the Afterlife," "Pets and the Afterlife 2," "Ghosts and Spirits" and "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" to teach others how ghosts and Spirits communicate with the living and to give proof of the afterlife. As a scientist, he also provides some scientific explanations about how energy is the baseline for the afterlife and the medium that entities use to communicate.

Dogs Sensing Ghosts: From a Dog Trainer: Mom Didn't Leave

On August 8th I gave a talk about Pets and the Afterlife at the Adirondack-Save-a-Stray fundraiser. It was there that I met Dan and Kathy, who are professional dog trainers in upstate New York.
During my talk, I mentioned that dogs and cats have the ability to see and hear Earth-bound ghosts and spirits. I my book "Pets and the Afterlife" I explain about the different cones and rods dogs and cats have in their eyes that enable them to see faster motion (and the vibration in which ghosts and spirits move). Of course, they also hear at higher frequencies- the same frequencies that ghosts and spirits "talk." Paranormal investigators use digital recorders to pick up those sounds, but dogs and cats can hear them!
After my talk, Dan and Kathy talked with me about some of their experiences when they were called in to help dogs with what was perceived to be behavior problems. They weren't. Fortunately, Dan knew enough to ask questions about the history of the house.
A MOTHER THAT WON'T MOVE ON -
He said in one instance a dog refused to go in one room of the house. He asked if someone died in the room. The owner told him that her mother passed away in that room, and that room was used as a "hospice room" for her mother in the year before she passed. Obviously, her mother is still there (as an Earthbound ghost (I would assume) and was frightening the dog. For some reason, the person's mother didn't cross over - likely because she: 1) wouldn't acknowledge she's dead 2) felt like she had business to finish 3) felt like she needed to stay behind to help the living loved ones better cope with her death... or any other reason. Whatever the reason, the mother needs to cross over. Once she does, the dog will no longer be afraid to go in that room!
