Doxiefest: More Event photos, dogs!

Jane and an adoptable dog
Author Rob Gutro and Harley- looking for a home
Harley's close up!
On Saturday, May 30th, I had a table at the MId-Atlantic Doxiefest in Belair, Maryland - It was an outdoor event and fundraiser for Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue. I met a lot of great people and dogs, and dogs looking for forever homes, too. Here are some pictures from the event.

ADOPTABLE DOGS - There were a lot of adoptable dogs walking around, and Jane was helping out one of the rescues. She brought 4 dogs to meet me, and I really grew fond of Harley a 13 year old black and tan dachshund. If you can open your home to a Senior dog, they're housetrained, and usually very low maintenance. Help give a dog in his golden years a great end to his time on Earth with a lot of love.

ALL DOG RESCUES NEED YOUR HELP!   Dog rescues take in dogs and take them to the, vet, get them updated on shots, teeth pulled (you'd be surprised how many need this), surgeries, and get them back to health. That costs a lot, and all donations are tax-deductible. For more information or to help rescue dogs, visit:  Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue.

LOTS OF ADOPTABLE DOGS - Not only was Coast-to-Coast Dachshund Rescue there and hosting the event, but there were a lot of other Dachshund rescues there and ALL of them have dogs that need to find permanent homes. Contact me for help to find one for your family, and I'll steer you to a rescue:  Rgutro@gmail.com
