Learn about the Haunted Old Yellow House and More in "Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking"

A new book called "Case Files of Inspired Ghost Tracking," by best-selling paranormal author Rob Gutro takes readers on paranormal investigations into private and historic homes where ghosts were traumatizing families.
Learn about the Old Yellow House, a haunted childhood home of IGT founder Margaret Erhlich, and how the ghosts inspired her to form the paranormal team many years later that brought the team into many strange situations.
Rob, a medium in the Inspired Ghost Tracking paranormal group, announced the release of his seventh paranormal book that brings readers along on investigations and reveals some bizarre and shocking things the group found and how they helped the ghosts and families.

"When earthbound ghosts have traumatized families in their own homes, Inspired Ghost Tracking (IGT) of Maryland has gone in to cross them over," Gutro said. "Every case is different, too. Some have had earthbound ghosts that were friendly, others were not. IGT experienced a lot of bad energies that caused people to become physically sick or mentally traumatized. IGT investigators had to figure who, what, when and why things were happening, to finally bring peace to the living and the dead."

In this collection of IGT cases, you’ll read about the "Burned Ghost," ghosts of two different time periods in one home, dark things that Ouija boards brought into homes, a very haunted Maryland mansion, many ghosts of Baltimore’s Federal Hill, a ghostly attachment, a Steelworker’s ghost, poltergeist activity, the famous IGT “Double Murder Ghost Investigation” and many more.

You'll find answers to questions like why ghosts choose to stay in a place, the differences and similarities between ghosts and spirits, why energy is the key to the paranormal and much more.

Although Rob has become known as a "Pet Medium" through the success of his best-selling books "Pets and the Afterlife" and "Pets and the Afterlife 2," he also connects with human earthbound ghosts and spirits.

Gutro is the first in the paranormal field to make the distinction between earthbound ghosts and spirits who have crossed over. Rob has three books about his experience with human ghosts and spirits, called "Ghosts and Spirits," "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead," and "Ghosts of England on a Medium's Vacation," and most recently, "Kindred Spirits: How a Medium Befriended a Spirit."

Rob Gutro has been featured in the Washington Post and nationally syndicated radio programs like "Coast to Coast AM." Rob is a volunteer with Dachshund and Weimaraner rescues and gives fundraising lectures for animal rescues around the U.S., teaching grieving pet parents how pets communicate from the afterlife.

Remembering Buzz: A New Memorial! (Who Influenced My Pets and the Afterlife books)

Buzz the Weimaraner is responsible for showing me how pets communicate from the afterlife, and influenced me to write my "Pets and the Afterlife" books 1 and 2. (I'm currently writing book 3).
I can honestly say that this little puppy is my hero and this year, we got him a new memorial that acknowledges his healing to countless others around the world, who have lost their pets

My puppy Buzz Wyatt was born 16 years ago on July 29, 2004 and passed away on Feb. 22, 2005 (Tom never met Buzz because he and I met in Dec. 2005). This year, we decided to get him a new memorial for the yard.

When our 16 year old Dachshund, Franklin passed on May 8 of this year, he found a place that makes the best looking pet memorials, by etching your pet's likeness in granite. So, we decided to do it for Buzz (and Sprite, which you read about on the anniversary of his passing on July 8).

The company that made them is called Engraved Reflections www.engravedreflections.com.

Buzz gave me so many signs after he passed. He still lets us know he is around. I wrote about his many signs in my "Pets and the Afterlife" 1 and 2 books.

A Nice Note that Made My Day

I enjoy receiving emails, especially from folks who have read my books and enjoyed them or found
them helpful. On July 14th, Kelly wrote me such a note and agreed to let me share it. So, if someone has affected you in even the slightest positive way today, drop them a short note and let them know. You'll make their day as Kelly has made mine. - Rob

Here's the note:
Hi Rob! I hope you read this. My name is Kelly and I just wanted to tell you that I have read all of your writings; they have enlightened as well as entertained me!
I’ve always been empathic but afraid to go any farther-due to bring raised Catholic (although I am no longer).
I love dogs and I can communicate with my dog Monty while looking into his eyes!
Keep up the good work, Rob.
 I live in Pittsburgh, PA.
Thank You for being a shining star!!!!

Paranormal Q&A: What are some warnings you would give people who wish to contact their loved ones?

Each week, I'll answer a question about the paranormal, whether a general question, or one about human or animal ghosts (Earthbound) or spirits (crossed over). Here's this week's question:

Q: What are some warnings you would give people who wish to contact their loved ones?

A: There's really only one warning to people who want to try and contact loved ones in spirit -  Don't use a Ouija Board. Ever. The reason is that Ouija boards (although initially, and horribly, were marketed to children) open up door ways to the other side and not everyone on the other side was a good person. In addition, they can open a door to dark things (meaning evil).
Don't use Ouija boards!
As a paranormal investigator, I've been called to a number of houses where people used Ouija boards and opened doorways and bad entities came in , and in one case made every member of the family physically ill!  We had to close the portal and clean the house of bad energy.

If you want to contact a loved one in spirit, read my books - because I explain all the ways in which they give us signs. Or, contact a medium like Ruth Larkin, the beantown medium who has a genuine gift.

However, it's easy to see signs from spirits of loved ones. You just need to know what to look for... and that's the reason I wrote my books "Ghosts and Spirits," "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" and Pets and the Afterlife and Pets...2."  Please don't use a Ouija board!

Paredolia and Seeing "Paranormal" Things

One part of paranormal investigating is debunking things. One aspect of debunking is about disproving something that someone sees in a design or background. We do that when others do not see the image and / or there are no temperature changes, electrical discharges, or a medium doesn't sense anything.

There has to be some back up. What's interesting is that when you look at something, and someone tells you what they've seen, you can also envision the object there. Does that mean it's there? No.
  It's likely  Pareidolia.

man on horseback?

What's Paredolia? It's a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.

Common examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, the "man in the moon", the "moon rabbit", and hidden messages within recorded music played in reverse or at higher- or lower-than-normal speeds.

Earlier this week, my friend Scott in Ohio found an article and photo of a graveyard, where a person said he sees a man on a horse.
Well, I didn't see it until I read the headline, and then I could "kind of" see it. I was making out an outline of what I think a man on a horse looks like in my mind while looking at the photo. So, no, I don't think there was a ghost in the photo. (Link to the story: http://news.yahoo.com/ghost-on-horseback-captured-in-chilling-graveyard-104358862.html?nf=1)

Seeing a face in a bathtub

However, that doesn't mean that ghosts don't appear in photos. We have lots of proof that they do- both in visible pictures and infrared pictures.

So, next time you look up in the sky and you see an "elephant" in the clouds, it's not the ghost of an elephant, but paredolia. Just use discretion!

3) 2018: Ghosts of England on a Medium's Vacation - Everywhere I visited while on vacation in England (we went to a lot of Tudor-era places, castles, churches, etc.) there were some amazing ghosts we ran into, and I've confirmed their identities. 2 Cat Moms Find the Spirits of their late Cats are Training their New Cats

In my books, Pets and the Afterlife and Pets and the Afterlife 2, I explain how pets in spirit will come back
to "train" our new pets to do some action or habit that they used to have in their time in the physical. That proves that their spirits are around, and lets their pet parent know that. Recently Kim and Mellynda wrote me about that same thing that happened to them. Here are their stories:

    •
  • Kim Bryan Reading your post this morning gives me confirmation! I lost my 16 yr old kitty Bebe last Dec. I recently adopted 2 kitties. It has been alot of guilt for me still.
But over the last week, these kitties are doing some of the exact things my Bebe did. Bebe had her own little quirky actions, as do all cats. And then as I am scrolling this morning....i see this ðŸ˜»
    2
  • Melynda Antoinette Wonderful! My cat has come back to train our two orange kittens we adopted after he passed. They sleep in the same area as him, sleep like he did, and one just acts super similar! I think it is very dear of them to come back and train the newbies!
The love we share with our pets never dies, and the author proves our pets do communicate with us from the other side. Learn how dogs, cats, horses and some birds have the intelligence and ability to send signs to the living after they pass. Take comfort in knowing our pets are around us from time to time and recognize the signs they give. Learn how they wait for us when it’s our time, what a pet’s ashes can do, and the difference between ghosts and spirits. Learn how and why living pets can sense entities. One of the author's dog works a ghost investigation and solves a mystery. Read how spirits of the author’s 2 dogs and dogs from three other mediums communicated with them from the other side. Read about spirit cats and how a ghostly dog rescued a girl. The author also volunteers for Dachshund and Weimaraner rescues and has several dogs.
Pets and the Afterlife 2 will give understanding and comfort to any grieving pet parent. This follow up to Pets and the Afterlife explains how al pets can provide signs from the afterlife, includes messages Rob received and stories from others. These stories show ways dogs and cats are linked to their loved ones on Earth. The personal detail that pets can convey is amazing.

BEHIND THE SCENES: How a Self-Published Author does Book Self-Promotions- a Massive Mailing

How I'm putting together my mailing list
Being a self published author, it's all up to me and only me to promote my books and make
people aware of them. There are many things I do, and it's a LOT of work. In fact, it's more work to promote a book than write it. This week, I've been making mailing lists for promotional post cards. I've been doing this project since August 2019. Here's what it's about>>
THINGS TO DO TO PROMOTE YOUR BOOKS-   I do things like put together my own press package: a press release announcing the new book, a headshot photo, bio, and cover of the book. Then pay press release services to distribute them. I also contact internet radio shows based on the subject matter (you can google it for your book topics if you're a writer). But I also schedule lectures, book fairs, and have gone to animal-related events (for my 2 Pets and the Afterlife books).
PROMOTIONAL POST CARDS -  I create promotional post cards and bring them to events to hand out (with website, order, social media info, and book photos).
MY YEARS-LONG MASS MAILING PROJECT -  But I've also decided to let veterinarians around the U.S. know about those books to help grieving pet parents. So, I created a post card to let them know. I wrote a note to veterinarians on one side, and had pictures of my books on the front with a summary. I had several thousand printed (yes, it's expensive, but I take it out of what little I make on the books - which is less than $1.00 for a $10 book).

HOW I AM DOING IT -  Putting the list together is exhausting. (Yes, I looked into buying a list of veterinarians across the USA, but the cost of the lists were between $2,000 and $5,000 and I don't have that kind of money in my author-only savings account).  SO, I google the most populated cities in EACH state. Then google "veterinarians in XXXX, Michigan."  Usually, for major cities there are hundreds of them. So it takes hours for each city. As I click through them I type addresses in alpha order to avoid duplication. I print the pages on huge label sheets, cut  up and affix them and post card stamps on the post cards. It's a HUGE project- it's taken years, but I work on it between writing my next books.
BOTTOM LINE -    So, being a self-published author is a LOT OF WORK. - If you know a self-published author, word of mouth helps so tell people about their books.
YOU CAN HELP A SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHOR! -  As for those who have read "Pets and the Afterlife" and "Pets and the Afterlife 2" -please, please tell your friends, co-workers and acquaintances about the books if they have pets. And PLEASE tell your veterinarians. My books are Less than $10 paperback and less than $3.99 Ebook (Much less than the others on the market) and both have been and continue to be best-sellers on Amazon.
So, if you write a book, be prepared to promote it. That's the hardest part!- - Rob
