Q&A with Medium Rob Gutro: Could a Cat Come Back as a Human?

I enjoy getting questions about the paranormal and provide answers based on my experiences. Others may have different experiences, and no one has all the answers, but these are interesting to think about.

QUESTION: I was told that my cat is human. Could this be correct?

ANSWER: It has been my experience that animals stay in the animal kingdom and come back that way. Humans stay in the human Kingdom.

Because we maintain our memories and personality and knowledge when we pass, it would also influence us to act like an animal if we did indeed cross kingdoms. So my answer is not in my experience. You can also think about it this way. Even though we don't have memories of our past lives, some of the habits are buried within us. That's why people are drawn to places they live before or two things that they did before like fishing perhaps in a different life.

Think about it this way. If you were a cat in your previous life and you came back as a human you may want to chase birds and mice and kill them with your mouth, or you may want to curl up into a tiny ball near a warm place. Although you wouldn't really understand why! So, my answer is, no. It's unlikely that your cat would come back as a human or that you would come back as a cat.

As cameras and video have become more and more prevalent in recent years, so too has captured footage of possible paranormal entities, activities and events.
Unfortunately, while some footage of subjects like UFOs, Bigfoot, and ghosts are pretty stunning, most are blurry, shaky or too dark to provide anything worthwhile. And even worse are the complete fabrications and hoaxes made possible by today’s digital technology.
But a famous ghost known as the Keeper Ghost seems to have recently been legitimately captured on film by a small TV crew at the centuries-old Tutbury Castle in England. The small crew was at first terrified, then left searching for an explanation as to what the clearly seen shadowy ghost possibly could have been.

I love Rob’s books and I have read all of them. I read this book in one day, because I couldn’t put it down. This book is so heartwarming as we learn about Ed. Rob writes in a compassionate voice, and by the end of the book, you will find yourself feeling affection for Ed too. I’ve learned so much more about how our loved ones in the afterlife communicate with us. More importantly, that they are still with us. If you want to warm your heart and lift your spirits, read this beautifully written book.

Each week, I'll answer a question about the paranormal, whether a general question, or one about human or animal ghosts (Earthbound) or spirits (crossed over). Here's this week's question:

QUESTION: How Do you answer requests for Investigating Houses for Paranormal Activity? 

ANSWER: I'm a member of the Inspired Ghost Tracking Group from Hanover, Maryland. Whenever people suspect a haunting, that is, an active (Intelligent) ghost in their home, they contact the IGT group through their website. They answer extensive questionnaires and then the manager sets up a phone call and if she thinks it warrants, a paranormal investigation happens.

 During investigations, I work with another medium or two, and tech people on the paranormal group to investigate what may be paranormal problems in private residences. If we can't debunk what's happening, we consider it paranormal. Since I'm a meteorologist I can debunk atmospheric issues, and we have an architect on staff who can debunk house-settling noises, We have dealt with many actual Earth-bound ghosts, and some poltergeists (mental activity that simulates a ghost, caused by a teenager going through hormonal changes).

 - We always cross the ghost over to the other side. I'm never nervous, but sometimes concerned if I know that someone was using a Ouija board - because those can open doorways to bad people in spirit!

Satan's Tunnel in Missouri


In Hawk Point, Mo., residents say a ghostly man haunts Satan's Tunnel, an old underpass draped with twisting vines and other vegetation. Amateur ghost hunters have parked outside another abandoned tunnel in Church Hill, Tenn., hoping to see the ghost of a madman said to pop in and out. Many found themselves stranded there when they try to leave, unable to start their cars. When their engines finally crank, they see the madman's terrifying figure in their rear-view mirrors when they start to back up.

HOW IT WORKS

  In short, I'm a meteorologist,but since I was a child I've had a gift to be able to communicate with those who passed. In 2005, when my puppy Buzz passed I've been able to communicate with all domesticated pets who have passed. So, I've written 2 books to teach others how to recognize the signs from their own pets. 

ABOUT THE EVENT

    My lectures are about 45 minutes and are interactive with audience participation, because you'd be surprised how many people have their own experiences. As a scientist in my day job, my books are based on energy. If people have religious beliefs or no beliefs, they can apply them to the concepts. There's usually a lot of healing and understanding that happens!

  You may want to speak with Megan Williams at LRHS in Ossippee or Charlotte Williams at Animal Rescue League of NH (ARLNH) in Bedford to get their reaction on these lectures that I have done in BOTH rescues in 2018 and again in 2019 (and booked for 2020). In 2018, ARLNH wound up having me do 3 lectures and raised about $1800 for them in one afternoon!  

NO COST TO SHELTERS

  I charge rescues and shelters nothing. They just organize the event, provide a space, collect the registration fees and host the event. So rescues advertise and charge for it (ARLNH and LRHS charged $20 per person, but you can charge what you feel is affordable),

WHY I DO IT ON MY WEEKENDS

I do this to help people heal from their grief and to help animal rescues raise money. Fortunately, I have a good daytime job that enables me to pay for transportation to rescues on some weekends to do this.

I ask for nothing other than to sell my books at the event for $10 each (to help pay for my travel).
