Join my friend Mike Ricksecker in this week's Friday Night Ghost Frights (actually from his Edge of the Rabbit Hole program)  as he tells you What Ghost Adventures Didn't Tell You About the Haunted Mineral Springs Hotel!
I joined Mike and Shana in the hotel in the summer of 2018, and we wrote about our Amazing Investigation in the BOOK "Encounters of the Paranormal, Vol. 4" by Mike Ricksecker.
In this program, Mike and Shara were LIVE from inside Pearl's Room at the haunted and historic Mineral Springs Hotel! Dave Nunnally from It's Raining Zen  joined us on Edge of the Rabbit Hole to talk about the real history, haunts, and real ghost stories at the venue that will host the Haunted Road Media ParaCon on June 1st. Plus... insider information about the Ghost Adventures episode that aired a paranormal investigation at Mineral Springs. Is the curse of the river bend real? Special Friday 13th Guest Blog: Haunted LA: A Rose Among Thorns

Today, Friday the 13th, I've got a special guest blog for you, written by an expert in haunted places in Los Angeles, California! Jenny Holt is a a freelance travel writer who has teamed up with a haunted hiking site to develop a guide covering the most haunted places in the city. They've covered places all over the U.S. too. You can check out her article here: http://backpackerverse.com/haunted-places-to-visit-in-los-angeles/

Here's Jenny's guest blog:

Haunted LA: A Rose Among Thorns
Boris Karloff's house (when you visit the Rose Garden)

You can find haunted places all across America. Some of the best come from the older sites, places where you feel history and decay, some of them come from historic tragedies or tragic lives, and others come with a sprinkle of stardust. Like any other city, Los Angeles has its fair share of haunted houses and locations.

As someone who grew up on black and white horror movies, you might imagine that moving to LA was a dream come true. The most exciting thing of all, was to see the lots and locations where Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi strut their stuff. This meant the first place I went to was Karloff’s Rose Garden on Bowmont Drive.

The most iconic of Frankenstein’s monster actors, as well as playing Frankenstein himself, and the Mummy, Karloff was also a keen gardener. His rose garden was so beautiful several friends asked to have their ashes scattered there. He duly obliged and created one of the most peaceful yet haunted places in the city. This is not the only haunted place in LA though it is my personal favorite. Also check out the Linda Vista Hotel, the Silent Movie Theater, the Wax Museum and many other the most haunted places in Los Angeles.
