Haunted Highways #3: New Jersey Bridge

Credit: Weird NJ.com
There are several haunted roadways and in today's blog you'll read about one of them  thanks to the Travel Channel's "Haunted Highways and Byways."   Today's haunt is a New Jersey Bridge.

Did you ever get bad feelings while driving on the highway? Well, sometimes whenever people die in car accidents their physical bodies die and their consciousness wakes up as energy and are confused. If they linger too long trying to figure out what happened, they get stuck Earthbound as a ghost. (you can read about that in my books "Ghosts and Spirits" and "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead.")

Haunted Bridge

Apparently, bridges don't just allow drivers to cross over rivers and streams. They also let ghosts cross over from the realm of the dead into the land of the living. According to a New Jersey tale, a dead boy — who may have drowned or been struck by a car — lurks under a bridge on Clinton Road in West Milford. Throw a coin into the water, and he'll toss it back, or at least return it to the bridge or leave it on the ground by midnight. The haunted bridge is near — you might have guessed — Dead Man's Curve.
