A Thanks for Sprite's Chapter in Pets and the Afterlife

Last month I received an email from a woman named Mary, who asked about her dog Emmy. She also shared this note of thanks for the chapter I wrote in my book "Pets and the Afterlife" (by Rob Gutro) about making the fateful decision for our dog Sprite in 2013. I'm glad to see that my books are helping bring comfort and understanding to people who have experienced the same deep losses.:

Mary wrote: I finished your book and part of it really talked to me. The part you talk about euthanizing Sprite. You talked about your second guessing yourself. I felt you wrote that section of the book just for me. You described exactly what I was feeling. I am still working through that but it helped me to know that many people feel that way.
