Happy Independence Day

Our dog Dash wishes everyone has a safe and happy Fourth of July. 
  He also urges You to keep fireworks far from doggies because (like many dogs) he does not like them!
  He reminds you to keep your dog indoors with the radio or television on, and keep their collar (with name tag, address and phone) on, in case someone opens the door and the dog runs scared outside. It happens to many dogs during the fireworks.

ABOUT THE CARD: 
The Wheel of Fortune card shows a giant wheel, with three figures on the outer edges. Four Hebrew letters – YHVH (Yod Heh Vau Heh), the unpronounceable name of God – are inscribed on the wheel’s face. There are also the letters TORA, thought to be a version of the word Torah, meaning ‘law’, or TAROT, or even ROTA (Latin for ‘wheel’). The middle wheel has the alchemical symbols for mercury, sulphur, water and salt – the building blocks of life and the four elements – and represents formative power. On the outer circle is a snake, the Egyptian god Typhon (the god of evil), descending on the left side. The snake also represents the life force plunging into the material world. On the right side rises the Anubis, the Egyptian God of the dead who welcomes souls to the underworld. And on top of the wheel sits the Sphinx, representing knowledge and strength. There is a Difference between a Medium and a Psychic

Recently, someone asked me to tell them their future, lottery numbers and if they'll be successful in their job.  I can't tell them that because I'm a medium, not a psychic. I talk to the dead, not connect to energy for people's futures.
   Some mediums will tell you that ALL Mediums are psychics. They're not. Not everyone gets both gifts.Here's how it works:

WHAT IS A PSYCHIC? 
Psychics can tell people about their future endeavors because they tune into the energy of people or objects. They connect with their energy and feel a person's past, present and future. Psychics rely on their intuition and ability to get information for the person being read.



WHAT IS A MEDIUM?
Mediums talk to people and pets who passed.  It's NOT the same. Although mediums can get a sense of the energy around a person, whether they have good or bad energy (aura), they can't necessarily read energy into their futures. That's exactly how it is with me:  I can talk with people who passed, but I can't tell you your future.

I can tell you what a person or pet wants you to know about themselves or if they've been protecting, guiding or helping you. I can explain how the person or pet feels on the other side. But I can't tell you what is in store for you. That's a psychic.

I never developed the gift of tuning into a person's future. To me, that's a much different gift. Just as some have the gift to know when someone is going to pass away days before they do. I don't have that gift either (to me, that's unsettling).

So, when you ask a medium to tell you the future, not all of them can - because we're not all psychic and mediums. Sometimes, like me, we are one or the other. 
 

The Ghost I Recently Encountered on the Princeton Campus

Earlier this spring I took a trip to Princeton, NJ to visit a friend. He toured Tom and I around the campus of Princeton University and it was there I walked into a ghost on the open campus. I also think I may have figured out his identity.

THE GHOST ON CAMPUS! As we were walking near the store on campus, in a big open area, I  suddenly developed my "ghost headache." That's the headache I get in the back left side of my head whenever I'm in the presence of an Earth bound ghost or a spirit (who crossed over).
    Suddenly, an Earth-bound ghost walked right past me. He made me feel as if he were a recent addition to the campus. Someone who recently died but decided to come back to Princeton and spend his afterlife, because he loved the school so much.
   I immediately told Tom that the ghost was a man and he seemed to be in his 60s or 60ish yeard old when he died recently. I also told them that he was a professor at Princeton.

SOLVING THE GHOST'S IDENTITY? 
Our friend may have provided the answer to his identity. He said that just days before our visit, Princeton University economics professor Alan Krueger, who served under both Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, died the previous weekend from suicide. He was 58.

His recent death would make sense, because the ghost told me he recently returned to campus (as a ghost). The suicide may explain why he stayed behind, because people who commit suicide sometimes stay behind because they think suicide is a "sin" and they don't deserve to cross over (everyone needs to cross over). So several things here hint at the ghost's identity.

OTHER GHOSTS? There are other ghosts who haunt Princeton's campus. I didn't go in the buildings, and that's usually where they dwell. This ghost, however, was enjoying a walk around the campus when I "bumped" into him!

  On Tuesday, June 18 from 7 to 8pm, the  Inspired Ghost Tracking group made apresentation called " Journey into the Paranormal"  at the Woodlawn Branch of the Baltimore Library in , Gwynn Oak, Maryland (It's in Baltimore County).

    Margaret Erhlich, the founder and manager along with senior investigator and Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) tech whiz, Randy Keller co-led the discussion, explaining how the group works, how investigations are conducted, what equipment is used and lessons about evidence.

   Diane, who is a sensitive, explained about trusting your feelings, and shared some of her experiences. Ronda, a lead investigator and group historian told the group about her famous photo of the silhouette of Dr. Samuel Mudd, from the Mudd home in Waldorf, Maryland. Dr. Mudd set John Wilkes Booth's broken leg after Booth assassinated President Lincoln on April 15, 1865. 

    I, Rob, talked about what happens after we die, and the differences between ghosts and spirits, and how they work with energy.

   There were a lot of good questions, and some shared experiences.

Your Dad is Around in Spirit on Father's Day

If your dad has passed, as mine did in 2008, then you need to know he's around you today in spirit.
Dad's in spirit remember that this is one of the special days where we honored the things our dads did for us as we grew up.
   My dad inspired me to read by buying me comic books. They also inspired me to draw, and create stories. Today I use all of those abilities, and I think of my dad whenever I do. So if you learned something from your dad and find yourself doing it today, know that he is very much around you, and he's smiling at you, feeling proud.
   The hardest thing about father's day is not having our dads physically here, but they all want you to remember that they are very, very much still a part of your life.
