Spirits of 2 Collie Dogs Hitch a Ride for Different People

This dog looks like the Collie that paid me a visit
A couple of weeks ago I gave a talk about how pets communicate with us from spirit at the Women's Club in Linthicum, Maryland.
It was a good example of how 2 spirits come together to give a similar message to 2 different people.
As I was driving there, the spirit of a Collie dog came into my pickup truck and told me that he has a message for someone at the talk. The collie was hitching a ride to my event because she/he had a message of comfort.
What I found odd was that I couldn't discern the sex of the Collie. Usually I don't have any trouble with it.
Sometimes 2 spirits will come to a medium together with a similar message for two different people. That's what happened here. That's why couldn't figure out whether the Collie was a male or female. It was actually one female Collie and one male Collie coming together with messages for TWO different sets of pet parents.
The spirit(s) said they were around the pet parent all the time from the other side .
He/she showed me how he/she liked to stand up on his front two paws and act proudly, showing a large area of white fur on his/her chest.
At the end of my talk I mentioned the collie and asked if someone knew who he belonged to. One of the women in attendance said that is her dad's dog and her dad was really missing him. In this case the Collie was a male. She was happy to get a confirmation that her dad's companion is still walking with and watching over her dad.
Another woman, whom I'll call Margaret, understood the message from the Collie. And in her case, the Collie was a female named Cindy. Margaret had been thinking of Cindy before the talk and when that happens, spirit "hears" those thoughts - because they're energy and spirits are energy - and came through.

BOTTOM LINE:   Spirits will come to people that know someone who needs to hear from them if they can't get directly to the intended person. This beautiful Collie came to me as I was driving to the event because his Dad and her  Mom needed to get that SAME message.

Blade the Dog Sends a Special Coin and Gives me a "Left-sided" message

Recently I received an email from a woman named Elizabeth whose dog Blade had passed. She wrote
Blade's Special Coin
me asking about a special coin that she found and wanted to know what it meant.
SPIRITS SEND US COINS - Spirits often send us coins after they pass as a way of confirming they are fine on the other side, and still around us from time to time. Moving a coin or anything from someplace to right in front of us is called an apport- and it takes a lot of energy. When you find a coin, check the YEAR, because it could indicate which spirit is thinking of you. My dad often sends coins dated 2008, the year he passed. My mom and our dog Sprite sends coins dated 2013, the year that they both passed. Usually I find the coins whenever I happen to be thinking of them. That means they are around when I think of them, and they send a coin as confirmation.
ELIZABETH'S SPECIAL COIN FROM BLADE - Elizabeth wrote: Blade was 16 years old. His name is Blade.  His was mostly blonde with some white on his chest and toes.
We had him since he was 4 months old. My husband and I miss him so much! I found a guardian angel coin the week after he died. It was strange how I found it. I was pacing on the sidewalk here at work and on my way back into the building I saw it right in front of my feet! When I came into the building I looked it up and the internet told me the coin was called a : Guardian Angel Coin. I have never seen those before in my life. I felt that Blade dropped it for me. Can you verify this??

MY RESPONSE  - THE COIN AND A LEFT-SIDED MESSAGE I RECEIVED FROM BLADE
Blade
The Guardian Angel Coin was a sign from Blade. It takes a lot of energy to do move something from one place to another -that's called an "Apport." The energy that Blade required was drawn from the positive energy of your love. Spirits often do that with monetary coins - usually the year indicates who it is that is giving you a message (based on birth dates, dates of passing, anniversaries, adoption years, etc).    So that special coin really is  fantastic.
Blade gave me a couple of other signs I provided Elizabeth - and the next one confirmed they were from him:)
Blade wants you to put that coin in the car, so he'll continue to "ride with you!" He's giving a happy grin with his tongue hanging to one side (left side) - I'm unsure if he used to do that, but it's definitely on his left side. Did he also look at you from the left side of his face? I keep seeing the left side of his face, looking at you both.

  ELIZABETH'S CONFIRMATION! -
The left side of his face thing threw me off at first but then I started thinking about his right eye and how it had a growth in the lid and how it was difficult for him to see through his right eye.  So, from his perspective he probably was always looking at us from the left! So, yes that makes total sense to me now.

Q&A about How Anyone can Sense Spirit

Rob Gutro at the Strathmore
I gave a talk about "Signs from Loved Ones" at the Strathmore Mansion in Bethesda, Maryland
during an afternoon tea last month, and there were a lot of questions. One of the topics was how anyone can sense spirits, and here's the question and answer:

Q: I don't have the ability to sense ghosts or spirits and want to know how it's possible to get it?

A: Everyone has the ability, they just need to trust what they get. Here's what I mean. First, it's all about ENERGY. Ghosts and spirits are energy coupled with memories, personality and knowledge (that's people or animals, btw). Every one of us has sensed energy at some time.

Main stairway in the Strathmore
For example, if you've ever walked into a crowded room and thought "I'd like to talk with that person," or "I think I need to stay away from that person" you're sensing their emotional energy - and it either meshes with your or doesn't. Further, if you've ever entered a home or business and felt uncomfortable or peaceful in it, you're sensing the residual energy in it. (residual energy is emotional energy like a thumbprint that people left behind (who dwelled there before).

Sensing energy is what Mediums do. They just sense the energy of people or pets who passed.

Fun at the South Florida Pet Expo and Messages

I  worked at the south Florida Pet Expo over the weekend of Nov. 4 and 5  where I gave a talk about my "Pets and the Afterlife" books and had a table, where I sold them.
Sylvia's sister, Rob, Sylvia
I met some nice folks, and really enjoyed talking with my neighbors in the booth next to me: Sherry and Sylvia who sold Shamy absorbent towels. They were fun and made the time pass (since not many people came to my table).

AMAZING VISITOR - A woman named Sylva and her husband Bud, and Sylva's sister and husband all drove 6 hours from Clearwater, Florida to Fort Lauderdale to meet me! Sylva had lost her poodle named Missy earlier in the year and bought and read my newest book "Pets and the Afterlife 2" about how pets communicate from spirit. She said she was so comforted by the book that she had to drive over and meet me at the expo (she learned of my appearance on my book's website).  That was really humbling.

Two Dachshunds on wheel chairs
Rob and his black lab companion
MISSY'S MESSAGES -Sylva's sister said that she had dreamt of Missy the toy poodle after Missy passed. She also said that she felt Missy's spirit jump on her bed (spirits will go to people they know will pass the message if the person they're intended for is blocking them with feelings of grief). So, while standing there, Missy had me ask Sylva if she saw a Missy  look-alike. Sylva then recalled she did!  She said someone drove into the cul-de-sac where she lives and in their car they had a toy poodle that looked like Missy. Sylva spoke to the people in the car, and found out THAT dog's name was also "Missy"!  What an amazing sign.

The black lab who kept me company
DOGGY COMPANION - One of the people who came to the expo was a middle-aged woman who had to 2 black Labrador Retrievers. One was on a leash and the other was very lame in his back legs and followed behind. When I saw the struggle the dog was having keeping up, I offered to let the dog stay with me at my booth, and he did. I could tell how grateful the dog was to not be dragged through the expo. At least I had company!

More Proof of the Intelligence of Dogs (re: Pets and the Afterlife)

I  love Science- and when I give lectures about how pets, like dogs, are intelligent and can communicate with people and other animals in the physical world, I explain the science of behaviors, learning, and even how it has been proven that they have the same emotional responses that humans have. Now  a recent scientific study at Yale University with dogs and then children tested their ability to problem solve faster. Dogs won.
It's really not a surprise to us, since we see how smart our dogs are figuring out puzzles and how do to things. Here's the info about the study and a brief video explaining the experiment.

Dogs ignore bad advice that humans follow

Dogs are less likely to follow bad advice than children, according to a new study conducted at the Canine Cognition Center at Yale. In contrast to children, dogs only copy a human’s actions if they are absolutely necessary for solving the task at hand, according to a recently published study appearing in the journal Developmental Science.
“Humans often fall prey to the bad advice of others” said Laurie Santos, director of the Canine Cognition Center at Yale and senior author on this study. “Children tend to copy all of a teacher’s actions, regardless of whether they are necessary or not.”
For instance, in one study previously conducted at Yale by Dr. Frank Keil and colleagues, children watched a demonstrator solve a puzzle by first moving a lever and then lifting a lid to pull out a prize.
Although the lever was completely irrelevant for solving the puzzle, children repeatedly performed both actions, even when they were in a race to solve the puzzle as quickly as possible.
The new study shows that dogs will leave out irrelevant actions when there is a more efficient way to solve a problem, even when a human repeatedly demonstrates these actions.

Keep in Mind When Reading Pets and the Afterlife: Communication applies to ALL domesticated pets

Recently I received a note from a cat parent who started reading "Pets and the Afterlife 2 - How Pets Give us Signs" and she said that her cat recently passed. She said " It seems the the primary focus is on dogs which I find distracting. Once in awhile a story about a cat is thrown in. Disappointed."

My Response:   I understand that the reader wanted mostly cat stories, but the book explains that although one story may be a sign from a dog - a cat could easily give the same sign!   I provide examples of how ANY domesticated pet (cats, dogs, pigs, etc.) can communicate. Although a good number of the stories are about dogs,  there are also many stories (and large chapters) about cats, too. When you're reading any book about how pets communicate you need a baseline because you can't be an expert in every animal.

As I explain in the beginning of my books, I use dogs as a baseline (because they are easier to train and there is more information about their behavior). Regardless- it's about domesticated pets.

The bottom line is that the stories of how they communicate - whether dogs or cats - doesn't matter, because those are the ways they both can communicate!
