A Westie dog Comes Through for his Mom at my Appearance

A big thanks to Mary Ann Sullivan at the Milton Council on the Aging (in Milton, Mass.). 
  I had a great time this morning giving a talk about "How our Pets Communicate from Spirit" and there were so many who had stories and experiences of their own. What a great audience. 
  One woman in the audience realized that there was a message for her from her Westie (dog) who passed, because I mentioned a Westie making a spirit appearance with Santa, and she knew it was a message for her because her Westie was famous for a number of christmas time photo shoots.
   Her Westie apparently in spirit obviously influenced her to attend!
 It was a great sign... and she wasn't going to come, but did at the last minute- so her dog so obviously influenced her to attend so she could know that he's around her!
  Remember, when it comes to Spirit, there is no such thing as a coincidence.

  It was the first year in Bridgeport and I met a lot of folks and dogs!

MY TALK- I had about 15 minutes to give an overview of the books from the main stage. I've been doing it so long I don't use notes and it went really well. In fact, most of the chairs were full, which was nice to see. Afterward, several people came over to me to share their stories or ask questions. One young couple, Eric and Emily had what appeared to be the happiest dog ever.

LET’S RECONNECT WITH OUR PETS

Everyone here at the Milton Council on the Aging loves dogs.  Some of us even like them better than most people.  Last month we had Bailey, Jack Foley’s rescue dog visit and we love it when Officer Kristen Chipman stops by with Fozzie.  It is a noted fact that dogs improve your quality of life and help reduce stress.  This is so true but as much as we love our dogs, it is hard when they pass.  Recently we heard about a book called, “Pets and the Afterlife” by Rob Gutro.  We contacted Rob and he graciously agreed to come to the Senior Center on Friday, September 16^th at 11:30AM and talk to us about helping people find peace after their pet passes.  Rob feels the love we share with our pets binds us together forever.  He will talk about how pets communicate signs to the living from the other side.  Rob will share scientific studies that prove our pets have emotions and personalities.  He will also share with us how our pets wait for us when it’s our time.  Rob does not charge for this presentation but he would like us to make a donation to the Milton Animal Shelter in his name. Rob’s book will also be available for you to purchase.   There is a $5 fee for the program which will be donated to the shelter as well.  Light refreshments will be served.   We could all learn a lot about what’s important in life from our furry friends.

I Received a Foolish Comment That Had to Be Addressed

Yesterday a person called "Prayer ----------------" commented on one of my videos telling me that their religion says "Animals have no souls." This person tried to push their conservative (and wrong) religion on me and others.
    To think that anything that lives has no soul is truly idiotic. 
WHAT IS A SOUL?  A soul is a combination of energy, memories, personality and intelligence, and ALL LIFE has a soul.
  Animals lived and thrived on this Earth long before mankind because they are intelligent. They are not "soul-less zombies." 
   That is the problem with some religions. They try to convey things they know absolutely nothing about and harm others. The afterlife is not about a religion it's about energy - and energy cannot be destroyed only transformed to spirit (or ghost).
    So the next time someone tries to force their (erroneous) beliefs on you, tell them to keep their beliefs to themselves, and that they'll see the truth when they die.
   There is nothing more irritating to me than hearing that "animals have no souls." That's just ridiculous.

We are joined first by friend of the show Rob Gutro who was not only one of our first guests but is also announcing the release of his second pet based book "Pets and the Afterlife 2" which is a sequel to his first hit book. Rob calls himself a "Medium Rare" because he always considers himself a student of the psychic-medium field of study..
    We start off by talking about Rob's past a little bit and how it was tough growing up in a religious setting. Rob talks about how his medium abilities were passed down through his family line. We learn quite a bit about the afterlife and ghosts in general as Rob explains to us the way the afterlife works and how our lovable pets fit into it all. We also ask Rob about things such as evil spirits, his plans for Halloween and the paranormal team he is part of.

We come back from break and bring Gary the Mad Martian on the line. Gary is furious about Daniel limiting his time on the show and immediately erupts into rage about Daniel's betrayal, Hoagland's mind games, Brookings and all the people trying to stop his message from getting out. Daniel tries to explain that what Gary thinks is untrue as Gary's anger continues to build. A unique caller named Curtis asks Gary some questions he doesn't like which sends Gary into level F5 rage. We try to calm Gary down as Gary proclaims that Michael is the only one on his side.
  We ask Gary about why exactly his show was taken off the air. This causes Gary to become saddened as he mumbles something about contracts and how his life has been ruined by a "code". Gary then explains as he has done in the past that he is the real John Connor.

Midnite the Dog (Spirit) Conveys 2 Specific Signs

Spirits of pets can provide messages from the other side that confirm they're still with us. I get a lot of emails and try to respond to them as quickly as I can. In one instance, a beautiful dog named Midnite came through to me with a couple of timely messages for her mother. She was able to confirm them shortly after I emailed them to her. The sequence of emails are below. 

Email Received:

Hi Rob, I have your book and found comfort in reading it over the loss of my dog, Midnite.  I'm not sure why I'm contacting you, but I don't know what else to do.  I am so distraught over her passing; I am lost without her. I was curious, do you receive communication from pets anywhere? Or how can I look for her spirit communications?  I know your book outlines several ways, but I didn't know if you had other thoughts too that might not have been published.

Response from: Rob Gutro -Author 

Hi Lisa- You were likely inspired by Midnite to email me because you're suffering from grief. Midnite is around you in spirit and will always be connected to you, but your grief is blocking her messages.

   One of the easiest ways for our pets and people in spirit to get through is by dreams. Ask Midnite to come into your dreams this weekend and show you where she is.

  I'm seeing her bed was put away somewhere because you were too emotional to continue looking at it. She said that's fine because she sleeps next to your bed at night anyway.

  You're also going to see a black dog that resembles her in the next couple of weeks and you'll know at that time she's around. It takes a lot of energy and effort from spirit to make that happen, so be patient.

THE CONFIRMATION

Hi Rob,

Thank you so much for responding. I am in utter amazement over your kind words. I needed to hear what you said so much and believe it. You were right about me putting her bed away and she always slept next to my bed even in life too. Plus it's where I put her urn. I ended up seeing a black dog that resembled her as a puppy today. After reading your book, I knew you had a gift, and I'm so glad you were able to communicate with her.

NOTE: I know that skeptical people may say "of course you put the bed away." 

Well, often people give beds to rescues, friends who have dogs, or discard them. Anything could have happened to Midnite's bed, but she specifically told me what became of it. Further, she indicated she would make her mom see a dog that resembled her within a short time. It's not easy for a spirit to make that happen because they need to influence their pet parent to be at a certain place at a certain time, and influence the other dog or dog's parent. So there's a lot of things that have to happen.
