Picture Proof of a Ghostly Face: in "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" by Rob Gutro

Here's an inside look at my second book "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" - that offers picture proof of a female ghost.
  It's a rare occasion to get such an amazingly clear picture of a ghost, and I'm not a big believer in orbs, but this photo certainly added a lot of proof that orbs are the most simple form a ghost can take.   These photos were part of an investigation where a family was experiencing a lot of paranormal things. - Without knowing any details I entered the home with medium Troy Cline (we're both on the Inspired Ghost Tracking group) and over a couple of hours determined two women were brutally murdered in the home. We sensed they were murdered and dragged through a furnace room in the home.

  Later, investigators went back and took photos and captured an orb in the very same furnace room!  Seen here. We enlarged it and found what I believe to be the face of one of the murdered women. They linger to help protect whatever new family is living in the home.

Getting a Message Part 6: Sounds and Voice

This is the sixth part in my blogs about getting a message from a spirit or Earth-bound ghost. Another way that they can communicate with you is through sounds or voice. Spirits can even bring you by someone that says something that your late loved one used to say, so that you know that your loved one's spirit is there with you.
   Mostly, spirits and ghosts will move things or put pressure on something in your house to make noise. I've read one story of a spirit that would go up and down stairs to check on the children upstairs (I believe it was a grandparent's spirit). They made the noise to let their family members know that they were around and watching over their grandchildren. Of course, the people didn't get it until they went to a medium.
   If you turn the shower on and stand waiting for it to heat up and you hear music (and there's no one one or outside), you're likely hearing music from the spirit world, and someone is trying to let you know they're there. I've heard music a lot whenever I turn on the shower - usually it's low and almost undiscernable, but sometimes I've heard classical music, other times, more big band (which my dad used to play).

   Sometimes spirits or ghosts will even get enough energy to speak aloud so we can hear them. If they can't muster that much energy, they can still be heard by dogs and cats, or picked up on digital recorders. One October, at around 6 am after my partner left for work, I went back to bed and put our  three dogs on the bed. From the kitchen, I heard my dad's voice call my name and all three dogs looked toward the kitchen - they heard him, too!
  So, pay attention and listen carefully, you may be getting an audible sign from your loved one!

An Amazing Reiki and Meditation, Message Session

On February 18, some members of Inspired Ghost Tracking and a few others gathered at the home of Reiki master Nancy Turner for meditation and Reiki. Nancy is an amazing, talented sensitive who enabled me and others to get in touch with their spirit guides and taught us how to best meditate.
   My friend and protege (I like to think of him that way) Kyle is an amazing developing medium, who has healing powers, and has even learned astral projection (something I couldn't even begin to do). Mary identified him as a former Shaman and he understood (as did I). He came on his first ghost investigation with me and my partner, and we confirmed each other all the way through the house with various ghosts who linger there. Kyle came to meditation on the 18th, and found it extremely beneficial, too.
  Mary Peck, another Reiki master who understands crystals and stones, was also present. She is extremely knowledgeable in the healing properties of all of them.

REIKI SESSION - At the end of the session, Nancy asked if there were anything else to address and I mentioned strong muscle tension in my neck and shoulder. I've had it for 2 months and only acupuncture had helped lessen the tension.  Immediately Mary and Nancy went to work with Reiki (transferring energy) and healing my neck and shoulder. The tension actually melted away.
 
MESSAGES RECEIVED -
During the session Nancy got great messages from my mom (who passed on Dec. 29). Nancy said that my mom was in the room, and said that I liked to take people under my wing and help them along. Of course, Kyle is one of those people. It was really special to get messages from my mom (I sensed she was sitting on a chair next to me, and she told me "So, this is what it's like to go to one of these meditations.").
  While I was meditating I also got some messages. One of them was very strong and turned out to be a relative of one of the people there. The spirit that came through gave me "Marj or Marg." She also said that there's a Jeff or Jeffrey that's either on the other side or still living that is connected (it's the spirit's son as it turns out). The spirit then showed me an arched church window and said that she was somewhat religious. Then she said, "When I died, there was no Jesus or saints around to greet me, dammit. Only my relatives were there!"  That clinched it for the person in the room! She said that was her personality.
  I also kept seeing the face of  a horse, and a Native American - with a red feather. Nancy said that's her Native American spirit that visits a lot.
  Over all, it was an interesting night, filled with meditations, finding our peaceful places in our minds, geting messages and Reiki healing. These are things that you can do yourself, too. Just find time to meditate, light candles, play soft, relaxing music (Pandora has a relaxation channel) and meditate!

Getting a Message Part 5: Feelings and Feeling

This is the fifth part in getting messages. Getting feelings is one of the ways I usually get my messages from Earth-bound ghosts or spirits who have crossed over. When spirits or ghosts connect with me, they will sometimes share the pain they experienced to tell me how they passed. I've felt a blow to the head, shot, stabbed, punched, heart attack, shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain, and once while walking through a castle in England I felt a ghostly sword slice through my left shoulder.
  In addition, I've also felt the emotions that spirits or ghosts experience. Whenever a spirit comes through, sometimes the love they're sharing is overwhelming and it literally brings me to tears. Other spirits direct me to hug the person they're communicating to through me.
   Ghosts and spirits will also convey they are present by poking, moving things, and more. When my dad passed, his spirit came to me that night and gave me a cold hug in my kitchen, some 400 miles away. Why was it cold, and why do ghost hunters comment on "cold spots" when ghosts are communicating?  Because of energy. fast moving molecules of air are present in warm air. when the energy is removed (by a ghost or spirit so they can energize), the  molecules slow down and the air cools.
  So, spirits and ghosts can communicate their feelings, either physical or emotional, and make us feel them, too.
