The book store investigation is described in detail in his new book, along with many other interesting experiences of the medium.

Paranormal Museum Needs Your Help

There aren't many museums dedicated to the paranormal or spiritual investigations, and one of them is now in danger of closing, and needs your support.
The International Museum of Spiritual Investigations is a non-profit museum but is experiencing difficulties to stay open. I only know this because I was going to appear at the Museum's "Aughost Conference" on August 4 & 5, and that's been canceled for financial reasons. To Help keep the museum open, please consider a donation. It's a rare museum that informs the public about the paranormal.  (They didn't ask me for help, or know about this post, but I think its important to give the public a museum for educational purposes).

We offer a knowledgeable staff, engaging exhibits, educational classes and introductory investigations. Through these offerings, the IMSI enhances the knowledge of the individual, the investigative skills of the community and economic vitality of our region.

Ouija Boards: Not a Good Idea

I recently went on a private investigation with the ghost tracking group that I belong to, and there was a lot of dark energy in the residence we were investigating. It turned out that one of the young women used a ouija board and invited anything in. Well, she got her wish. There were a lot of bad things that happened there, and shadows of people (ghosts) and bad emotions lingered. We were able to cleanse the house, but there's a lesson there.
THE LESSON: When using the Ouija board you're opening a portal to the other side - mostly earth bound ghosts who hear your call. Inviting a ghost into your life is like inviting a guest that won't leave and wears you out. Don't do it.  They also emit negative energy and cause you to be in a bad mood, which in turn feeds them again.

According to GhostResearch.org, "Most often the spirits whom are contacted through the Ouija are those whom reside on "the lower astral plane". These spirits are often very confused and may have died a violent or sudden death; murder, suicide, etc. Therefore, many violent, negative and potentially dangerous conditions are present to those using the board" That makes total sense to me.

The following article appeared on MSNBC, and is an example of what happens when bad entities come in and give messages to weak minded people (children and teens are especially vulnerable).

Teen stabbing suspect: Ouija board said do it

A Texas teenager charged in the stabbing of his 14-year-old friend said a Ouija board told him to carry out the attack, police said on Friday.
The 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing his friend with a 4-inch knife on Feb. 29 in a wooded area behind a high school in Weslaco, a small town along the U.S.-Mexico border at the southern tip of Texas. The victim was treated in intensive care for three days for a severe laceration to his intestine, Weslaco police spokesman J.P. Rodriguez said. The alleged assailant, whose name was not made public, has no history of mental problems or criminal behavior, Rodriguez said.

Recap from "Coast to Coast AM" with George Noory

Had an AMAZING and great time last night (June 22 at 10 p.m. PDT/June 23 1 a.m. EDT) talking with George Noory, host of Coast to Coast AM about my new book and ghosts and spirits. Received some great questions from people who called in, too. This was an amazing and very memorable experience and I really enjoyed myself!

If you missed the show, Coast to Coast archives them. The direct link is here: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/show/2012/06/22

Here's a short recap from the producer:

Ghost Communication

In the first hour, medium and meteorologist Rob Gutro talked about his interactions with earth-bound ghosts. Gutro recalled having his first paranormal experience as a teen, when he saw an apparition of his deceased grandfather materialize before his eyes. He spoke about the challenge of learning to separate his own thoughts from those of ghosts trying to contact him. Gutro credited falling in love with helping him more accurately tune into ghosts, noting that any positive emotion can give an entity power to communicate with the living. He said some ghosts linger here because of unresolved emotional issues, others do not realize they are dead, and some simply do not wish to leave their houses. Gutro likened earth-bound ghosts to prisoners in isolated jail cells, able to see spirits that have passed on but unable to communicate with them. He also shared an amazing paranormal experience with his father's ghost: "I felt two arms come around me, wrap around me, like I was getting a big hug from behind," he remembered.

An Odorous Spiritual Message

Spirits like to convey personal things to prove that it's them. Earlier this year on a drive to a Medium event featuring Medium Barb Mallon, a spirit joined me and my partner for the ride. Suddenly I heard the name "Al" and he said that he has a message for someone- that he's around every now and then and comes back to check on his relatives. He let me know that he's a jokester, because suddenly the car filled up with flatuence!  Yes, the spirit farted in our car!  Of course, at first I thought it was my partner, and he thought it was me, but neither of us did it- It was AL!!  He was a goofy man in life, and of course, kept his personality in death, as we all do. :)

Ghosts, Spirits, Personalities

Sometimes we work so hard to develop our personalities, and we actually do hold on to them after we pass. I was recently interviewed on the "Francis and Jon Show" on Worldtuned radio.com and received the question about personalities.
 - People who were loving, caring and attentive keep that in the light, or even if they choose to be an Earth-bound ghost. People who were funny, keep that personality, too. I was at a wake when the spirit of the man who passed was there. He was acting goofy, poking me, and putting an ear into conversations people were having to hear what they said about him!
- Those who were hateful, selfish, abusive and evil do experience a change, however. Once they pass, they get an immediate awareness that their behavior was bad. In my experience, people who had negative behaviors tend to be trapped on Earth as ghosts. Being a ghost is like being in a hell, because the ghost can't communicate with the spirits who have crossed over (except from seeing them from afar- like looking at them through a glass). A ghost is isolated. Being a ghost is my understanding of hell. Regardless, those who were evil or hateful usually find themselves asking for forgiveness from those they hurt or did wrong when they were alive.
Think about going to old prisons on a ghost investigation. Most (if not all) are haunted by ghosts!  Why do you think that is? The answer is because those people committed crimes during their lives that they need forgiveness for. Unfortunately, most of those they're seeking forgiveness from are in the light and can't communicate with them. So, it's up to the ghost hunters to assure them they've been forgiven and send them into the light so they can learn more and enhance their spirit.
