Purpose of this Blog

Rob Gutro is an author, paranormal investigator and medium with Inspired Ghost Tracking of Maryland. Since he was a child he could receive messages from ghosts or spirits (who have crossed over). *He wrote the books "Pets and the Afterlife," "Pets and the Afterlife 2," "Ghosts and Spirits" and "Lessons Learned from Talking to the Dead" to teach others how ghosts and Spirits communicate with the living and to give proof of the afterlife. As a scientist, he also provides some scientific explanations about how energy is the baseline for the afterlife and the medium that entities use to communicate.

What is a Ghostly Cold Spot?

As a meteorologist and a paranormal investigator I strive to explain the paranormal with science and
this is my explanation for why cold spots can sometimes appear whenever we sense an Earth-bound ghost or even a spirit (who has crossed over).

Scientifically, heating a liquid or gas increases the speed of the molecules. Cooling a liquid or gas decreases the speed of the molecules. Fast moving molecules of air are warm(er) air, and slower moving molecules of air are cooler air. So, a ghost basically extracts the energy moving the molecules of air and slows them down, creating a column of cooler air where the ghost is standing.
